This is taking longer than usual for a cover-up... I think there may be someone on the swat team that is not willing to lie, and that the powers that be are trying to get him to play ball "for the sake of the team."

I know of this happening before... Same type of situation where someone innocent died and the officer that was trying to do the right thing gave an ultimatum to all involved stating that they needed to tell the truth or he would tell everything he knew. Well the guilty ones cooked up a story that did make themselves responsible - but not in a "criminal intent" way. It was a "We're sorry, here's a check" situation. The honest cop was later found dead with what was supposed to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. I knew the guy and have a hard time buying that story...

>Perhaps they can explain why they withheld emergency medical care for the guy.

I can: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

He could fire - if he put the safety off. The guy knew how to use a rifle. The fact the safety was off shows he had no INTENT to fire.

They claim he pointed the rifle at them. I was under the impression that people who know how to use firearms don't point them at people they don't intend to shoot. Either this Marine didn't know how to use a firearm, or somebody is lying.

That was about as lawful of an action as the NAZIs rounding up and gassing the concentration inmates in world WarII.

In fact, it makes every decent individual that hears about it sick.

They deliberately and maliciously took the man's life from him and now they are murdering his character.

No decent human being would be a party to something like this.

The whole incident is sickening; I only wish the grand jury would present each of them with murder charges.
But it illustrates, along with this story ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-vUYeJXSrA ) just where things are in the mindset of our “public servants”:
1) Guilty until proven innocent,
2) Guilty, even if proven innocent,
3) The police/politically-connected are incapable of legal wrongdoing because everything they do is legal by virtue of their having done it
(”Immunity,” they call it).

*sick*

"They failed and are now serving time behind bars."

If any are found to have falsified evidence/probable cause to obtain the warrant the deserve the Death Penalty.

Those who knew of it would be co-conspirators and should be allowed life without parole.

Any who went along but failed in their duties to verify evidence and the voracity of Affiants should be charged and tried for Criminal Negligence.

Those who knew nothing of the original details but were part of this crime...deserve prayers.

The ones that are really special is when they do a dynamic entry for someone threatening suicide and end up shooting them.

I know that is a truly sad (but true) situation, but darn, that comment made me LOL. It reflects exactly the total stupidity of these situations.

It definitely sounds like he needs more time to concoct excuses and get the official story straight, doesn’t it?
