Rep. Allen West, R-Plantation, delivered a vintage performance Tuesday — full of confidence, never backing down — even when facing a somewhat restive audience posing sometimes hostile questions. Judging from the applause, most of the town hall audience of about 300 at the Pompano Beach Civic Center was supportive of West. And when several people who didn't like the congressman, what he was saying, or the format interrupted with shouts from the floor, the majority's displeasure was clear. Anne Deon, of Fort Lauderdale, repeatedly yelled out a demand that Congress increase taxes on big corporations and people in the crowd yelled, "Lady, this isn't 'Romper Room,'
"Lady, you're flapping. Sit down," and "Nobody came to hear you talk." After leaving in a huff, Deon said she didn't want to sit through West's opening remarks and see if he addressed her concerns during the question-and-answer part of the meeting because "he should get to the questions first. He's going to drone us to sleep."
Democratic activists and the liberal group MoveOn.org urged West critics to attend, and several criticized the format, which required people to submit questions written on cards. There didn't appear to be an effort to censor the questions. Moderator Ric Green, president of the Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce, culled the question cards without the presence of West's staff, pitching those that didn't have a question or that included statements such as one woman's "I love you!" Green, describing himself as being as neutral as Switzerland, said there were no restrictions.

While what your wife says may make perfect sense to us, you must remember that we’re dealing with libs. West will be called a “Uncle Tom” and they’ll say that because he’s not “from the hood” he’s not really “black”. Of course, Obama isn’t either but we now live in a world where if you say it, it’s true; even if the evidence to refute it is staring you in the face.
I have full confidence in every action and vote La Col Allen West makes PERIOD I trust him.
But you better check his voting record before citing anything.

A Statesman instead of a politician......something we have not seen in a long time.
It is so simple and you can look it up...the Media does not want to tell the story just the sound bites!!!
He does not want to be part of Boehner’s dog and pony show to appease the TEA Party. He knew that the vote was nothing but show and not going anywhere. So you make a choice, do I go along to get along or do I make a stand. If I choose to go along to get along and vote on something that does not sit right with me and is BS, then I am part of the problem!!!
What kills me? We have people obviously connected to the internet and yet they won’t go out of their way to find an answer to a question. Allen West’s response is there for anyone who wants to see, but I guess since the MSM media chooses not to put it out there they will just assume.
If we got lucky enough to save this country and West is called upon an emergency request to serve as POTUS candidate. The media will say he lacks experience but trust me they will look like fools.Then they will do background checks and check every record and where he buys his bed sheets (We wouldn’t BE IN THE MESS WE ARE in IF THEY HAD DONE THEIR JOBS AND DONE THIS TO OBAMA) and be ticked they find nothing.
I would pay to watch West debate anyone. He is beyond brilliant.He is charismatic with honor and character rarely seen nowadays.
We need a “dual class” fighter/statesman,
someone who isn’t all “my distinguished colleague”,
someone who makes the left actually defend themselves instead of hiding behind strawmen and the race card.
I love this man and pray that he will decide to run.
He has explained it. Didn’t want to piecemeal it to death. Do a google search. It’s there for all to see. Or just go to his congressional page to see where he stands on issues.

A statesmen
For me it is the little things. Have you ever heard him hem and haw? No, ahh, ummm, ahhh, ummm. That drives me crazy...spit it out! Also he is so knowledgeable, he does not appear to need a staff to think for him. I have yet to see him dumbfounded. He is direct, calm and resolute. He does not try to blow smoke. I think he is fantastic, I wish we could clone him.
What you’re seeing in his “clarity” is that he has a firm understanding of what he believes, but there is one more aspect to that.
Most leftists firmly understand what they believe as well, and sincerely and vehemently hold to those beliefs.
But the difference is, leftists know that their beliefs are simply abhorrent to normal people, and they know that they cannot “speak from the heart”. This is why you see the obfuscation, the hemming and hawing, the obvious filtering of every utterance.
Unlike the typical Democrat Congressperson, Col West does not duck-and-hide from the people he is supposed to represent.

The way Obama handled OBL was atrocious. Big mouth dems with no class, common sense diplomacy or skills.
