I really think we’ve reached the end of the road on the Republican party. Either they get themselves straightened out NOW, or they are dead. They’ve been playing this game of the lesser of two evils for the past 50 or 60 years, and now it’s done.
I am not talking about staying home or voting third party. I think either the Republicans need to straighten out—which is increasingly unlikely—or we need a new second party for the 2012 election.
Not a spoiler, but a reformer, like Abe Lincoln, who first put the Republicans into power and kicked the Whigs into the ditch.
And I think that’s what Sarah Palin will do, IF NECESSARY, with the help of all those angry conservative voters who came out in the 2010 election. She’ll work with the Republican Party if she can. But if she cannot, and if she feels that her God and her country are calling on her, then she will be the kind of leader we need at this critical juncture. We simply cannot afford another four years of either Obama OR the latest RINO, whoever that might be.
The time is up.
I think Romney has a great at the nomination and Presidency, if he runs as a Dem against Obama.
Choosing Romney is like voting for 2 more terms of Obama. I’ll stick with just one more.

I’ve spelled out in my post, that you responded to, exactly how it is a sin to vote for a non-conservative Republican.
It’s not passive to not vote for a non-conservative. It is an active strategy to not enable moderates. If we are going to have a liberal in the White House, then let him be a liberal who is called a liberal so everyone can know exactly what philosophy brought this civilization to its knees.
Let’s not cloud the issue, so that when the smoke clears and some of us have to rebuild, we know that it was exactly liberalism and socialism that caused the problem. Don’t let the media blame it on the RINO who was in office as our country was destroyed, and point and say “See what happened when Republicans are in office? Best go completely socialist next time.”

agreed. It’s a systemic problem. Witness Newt, Romney, Huck, Rove, Colin Powell. Why are we following these liberals?
We are already on our knees as a society. Any further and we’re down and out. As moderate as Romney might be, he will not appoint a Sotomayor to the supremes. We’re more likely to get a John Roberts and that put Romney miles ahead of Obama in my book. This next court appointment will potentially tip the court to the left for decades. That is where the transformation Obama wants will take place.
If we get Romney, our complaints, when he appears to veer to the middle will not fall on deaf ears. He will correct at the least for re-elections sake. Obama? He’ll give us the bird.
My preference is Bachmann, Palin, Cain, Pawlenty, Gingrich. But if it’s Romney in the end, I’ll vote for him because Obama is a true disaster for liberty and miracle-gro for the nanny state.

Well good luck with that. To me that’s been tried and failed countless times, but if you feel that’s what you need to do go for it.
But if and when Romney get’s elected, and you get what you got, think of this conversation.
