Should there be no Catholic US Army chaplain available to minister to a dying Catholic soldier, would anyone be so ignorant as to suggest a Jewish US Army chaplain giving Catholic last rites would be damned ? Or that it would “curse” the dying soldier?

This was a ceremony appropriate to the recognized religion of the corpse. Not a conversion by the attending staff or spectators. To suggest it’s getting anybody “cursed” is hysteria. Get a grip.

and would one insist that the Jews attending be forced to pray the rosary to “show respect”?

Hmmm

Don’t be silly; a Jewish chaplain wouldn’t be able to do Catholic “last rites.”

What happened was that a mooselimb was hired to recite a prayer which, among other things, involves cursing their rival biblical peoples. Punked.
