Anneke Green has a disturbing analysis in the Washington Times which indicates the very likely specifics of the burial ceremony aboard the USS Carl Vinson—repeatedly noted by witless counter-terrorism czar John Brennan to be in strict “conformance to Islamic requirements”—for pious Muslim jihadist Osama Bin Laden, orchestrator of the mass murder of Americans on 9/11/2001.

As Green reports, “Navy Military Funerals, (pp. 34-35)” a protocol developed by the Navy, describes in explicit detail what transpires during a Muslim sea burial:

The body must have been washed and wrapped “as required for the bodies of Muslims,” which refers to ceremonial cleanings that must be done by another Muslim. Those who have gathered to pray at the burial—ostensibly crewmembers since family is not allowed at sea burials—must face Mecca.

IIRC, there are no pictures or eyewitness accounts of ANYTHING that happened during OBL's burial at sea process.

There could, therefore, be a huge difference between official pronouncements on what happened, and what actually did.

In that regard, since the "truth" is still unknown, I choose to believe that OBL was stuffed into the pig entrail-filled trunk of a 1962 Ford Fairlane, and was "buried at sea" via cat-shot.

Regularly, I wonder how often our Navy buries sailors at sea. My guess, the last few years, we've probably buried more terrorists at sea. I've nothing to bas that on, other than our ability to transport remains. I think Mr. Brennan made that up.

Yes, I should have made that distinction. I was referring to combat or other at sea deaths. Burial not at the direction of the deceased, but based on circumstances as was the case here. I have to think that you could count that on one hand over the last few decades.
