ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. A Delta Air Lines flight from Detroit to San Diego has been diverted to Albuquerque, N.M. over what authorities are calling a "potential security threat." Albuquerque International Sunport airport spokesman Daniel Jiron declined to say Sunday what the potential threat was, referring calls to the FBI. FBI spokesman Frank Fisher declined to clarify and said only that agents were investigating. Jiron says the plane is in a "remote location" at the airport. The passengers, who were taken off the plane, are being interviewed. He did not immediately know how many passengers are aboard. The flight, Delta 1706, was diverted at 10 a.m.

An earlier report on radio said it was a bomb threat.
“Police were seen removing a large object that appeared to be a mummy wrapped in duct tape.”
Heading your way 12 May for colonoscopy at VA hosp.
My great grandmother on my mother’s side was Choctaw.
My great grandmother on my dad’s side was Cherokee.
Will be staying near the airport though we’re driving.
Joya is headed your way now for some training at her org’s site there.
Almost makes one wonder if the pilot that made the decision to eject the Moose limbs in Memphis was on to something.
Thanks for the info. My great grandmother hailed from Water Valley, Mississippi (100% Choctaw)...was “relocated” to Indian Territory. My mother was born in Poteau in 1920.
Here’s a neat place near the airport (even though you’re driving)...nice people, cheap, close to restaurants: http://www.sleepinn.com/hotel-albuquerque-new_mexico-NM424
God’s speed; best wishes.
Sincerely.
Bugs in drag???
hmmm, my ancestors welcomed the “newcomers” to the west coast, beginning sometime in the late 1500s. Spaniards, I think, then English, then ?
Thanks. IF you are interested in having dinner together the evening of the 13th or morning of the 14th breakfast, let me know by FREEPMAIL.
Congrats on your ancestry.
I’m about as American as can be . . .
Great grandmother Choctaw;
Another Cherokee
Another Scottish
Another . . . English, perhaps Slovac way back.
My DNA has some rare elements in it . . . Balkin, Middle Eastern, Scandanavian, Scottish, English, Irish . . . etc.
Irish, Comanche, English, Swede, here.
We Americans are a melting pot and not some sort of “salad bowl” the America-hating leftists want us to be.
INDEED.
Was in San Diego during the 70’s manufactured gasoline crisis.
