Even if false it is a good rumor to spread! Let the terrorists be paranoid for a while.

Wow, another twist to this story

Somehow I don't see "Ayman al-Zawahiri who led US forces to his hideout" credible

If that is true why isn't Mr. Zawahiri being waterboarded at Gitmo at this very moment ?

You’re absolutely right. But 0bama bin Lyin expects that it will have a beneficial impact on his reelection chances and his communist plans against the West.

Good story, even if it’s ultimately not true. Let them jihad against one another...let the fatwas fly. Maybe they can have red rover contests with exploding vests. One way to thin the ranks.

There could be more truth to it, than we think.

“Pakistan’s intelligence agency has concluded that Osama bin Laden was “cash strapped” in his final days and that al Qaeda had split into two factions, with the larger one controlled by the group’s No. 2, Ayman al-Zawahri, according to a briefing given by a senior officer in the agency.”

Split Seen Between bin Laden, Deputy

“Osama bin Laden and the deputy leader of al Qaeda “parted ways” six years ago, a senior Pakistani intelligence official said Thursday. “

Actually, getting Bin Laden may help Al Qaeda, now they can all unite behind Al Zawahiri.

Good point but I think this is more about ego for the Jihadist not wanting to admit that the Great Satin nailed his ass and an all too willing Europe not wanting to admit that American Cowboy-ism once again rules the world. We must have let them get him.

Exactly what I was thinking but I’ve always been a fan of sowing discord among our enemies at home and abroad.

It won’t stop them, but I bet the intel we got from his house will help save many U.S. and our allies lives.

We also confirmed what many already knew. Pakistan was talking out of both sides of its anal orafice as all islamderthals do.

The Saudis are upset because Osama was their man, exerting control over al Queda to accomplish Saudi goals. Osama’s 9/11 hit caused Sadaam to be taken down (to Saudi’s benefit).

This all reminds me of what expatguy said:

"It's sad to say, but it is Obama who has done more to inspire radicalism in the Islamic world than Osama Bin Laden has. It was Osama Bin Laden who professed Islamic superiority to throngs of vulnerable jihadi wannabes around the world and you Mr. Obama have professed American inferiority to the same people."

Thanks Obama. Now we just wait. . .

yah....well if I were Ayman al Zawahiri (and several others...), I'd be worried that there is a Predator drone over me right now with a pair of hellfire missiles hanging on it, with my name on both of them...

Or maybe a Navy SEAL sniper out to drill someone a fresh, raw, new anus in the middle of their forehead...

Smile and say "cheese"...

Thanks UniqueViews.
"The Egyptian faction of al-Qaeda led by Zawahiri was defacto running the militant group, after bin Laden was taken ill in 2004 and they were trying to take full control," the paper said.
Funny thing -- al Qaeda and the Taliban were invented by Saudis, and continue to be nurtured by Saudi billionnaires. Expect this claim to go viral; in particular, keep an eye on the pro-jihadist heir-apparent at Newscorp.

The Saudis are losing or at best stalemated vs their good friends, the Iranian mullahcracy -- and the 3000 corrupt princes™ of the House of Saud have internal enemies of all stripes and sects.
