While I have zero respect for Obama, he was only a spectator in the Situation Room, watching Panetta give the play by play on the big screen TV. In that photo circulating, he looks like the pizza delivery boy who showed up at the door in the final two minutes of the Superbowl, came on in and found a stool to sit on and watch the final drive.
Obama probably does not know nor understand everything that happened DURING the operation. Once he was given back control in the aftermath, everything begin falling apart. He reverted to his “everything is about ME” mode. From then on the indecision & confused signals began stumbling out of the White House.
The ROE in Pakistan is to exchange pleasantries and talk about your day prior to killing the enemy. Many people do not know this.

I believe that’s babble from the mouths of the pouting Pakistani government shaped for our consumption, to try and worry our CIA. We know how to blow up the revealing mechanics of a “specialized” helicopter, that is, if we truly were the ones to blow it up, if it was truly “specialized”. ( One of many stories released. )

The photo of the tail rotor shows a design with which I am not familiar. I’ve been checking the aviation forums for some insight.
Years ago, I flew helos in the USMC, so I am a bit familiar with various US military helos.
This looks like a special modification, IF it is a Blackhawk.
There are press pictures of the remains of the helicopter and military commentators are saying it’s a stealth helicopter from those pictures.
He didn't say he saw the helicopter only that he heard it. Maybe, the Pakistanians were flying normal helicopters to camouflage the activity of the stealth ones? Think about it. If you saw a normal helicopter, you'd give it a quick glance and go on with life. If you saw a cool looking helicopter you'd stay there watching where it's going, take photos and call your neighbors to look at that cool UFO. Soon a crowd might gather witnessing all that was transpiring.
Yesterday I read someplace that the police were going from door to door telling people to turn off their lights. Shortly afterwards the helicopters were heard. I think both countries worked together.

I have two thoughts on this. The first is the fact that there is a military base a mile or two up the road. Maybe the residents of Abbottabad were used to hearing helos at close range. Apparently, there are a lot of higher ranking military living in the vicinity as well.
But the other thing I heard is from the Twitter guy who tweeted about the raid in real time. He *heard* the helos and went outside to check things out.
Maybe if OBL was really in there, he was stoned. Someone was growing marijuana right on the other side of one of the compound’s walls.
