Rep. Darrell Issa, the California Republican who chairs the House Oversight Committee, was able to question Attorney General Eric Holder for the first time over the Project Gunrunner and Operation Fast and Furious scandal during a Tuesday morning hearing of the House Judiciary Committee.

I noticed a nasty trick the writer played.

The last paragraph on page one:

The project began as a trial during the Bush administration in Laredo, Texas in 2005. It ultimately morphed into a national program in 2006. The guns were sold and tracked electronically, giving law enforcement agents valuable intelligence on where the weapons went and who had them.

And the first paragraph on page two (which some people wouldn't even bother reading):

During the Bush years, no guns were allowed to cross the border into Mexico. When President Obama took office in 2009, things changed. Obama’s ATF continued Project Gunrunner, but made a crucial decision to allow guns to be “walked” into Mexico. The weapons eventually ended up in the hands of Mexican drug cartels.

If Issa is genuine in investigating to assign responsibility for the deaths of Federal Officers and innocent civilians to Holder and ATF command staff, then this is huge and serious.

If, on the other hand this is a shill RINO misdirecting whitewash of Holder and the ATF bigwigs, then it is hugh and series, in it's proper FR usage.

I certainly pray Issa is the real deal here, but Rats in Justice, FBI and ATF have never been taken to task by Congress ever, only Idaho.
