Getting close to having completed 5 of 8 on a direct commission guard contract. Haven’t accepted any bonuses, repayments, or anything outside of straight pay for drill. As much as I hate to say this:
It is time for all good servicemen NOT to re-enlist. Of course the regime may seek to circumvent this by stop loss orders, and then giving dishonorable discharges to all those even suspected of dissenting (a rather mild version of what Stalin did to the Red Army). The next conflict the US would get in to will involve servicepersons who are not worth a damn on the battlefield, but parrot all the right political lines. And it will be bloody.
