Donald Trump: 'I Don't Want to Listen to Karl Rove'
Yahoo News ^ | April 24, 2011 | Saul Relative

The man who inspired the documentary "Bush's Brain" and was the political mastermind behind George W. Bush's presidency got no vote of confidence from potential GOP candidate Donald Trump during a recent interview on Fox News. Trump, speaking with Greta van Susteren on "On The Record," literally named the former White House chief political adviser and one-time chief of staff as the "man who ran Bush into the ground."

"Bush finished so weak that we ended up getting Obama," Trump said. "(Rove) ran the man into the ground. "And the more I see about Karl Rove, the more I realize: maybe it wasn't completely Bush's fault. ... So I don't want to listen to Karl Rove."

He recently said he had information on the birth certificate issue that people would find "interesting." He said that he would soon be revealing the findings of his investigators, a team that he purportedly sent to Hawaii to investigate the authenticity of Obama's birth in that state.

STFU Rove. You’re responsible for this crap. Just STFU, go away, and abuse yourself, or write your memoirs, or whatever. But go away. You have overstayed your welcome.

Karl Rove, George W. and the GOP House and Senate, began spending us into oblivion; Obama is just continuing the Bush legacy.

Yes, and that is why Hannity is known as the dunce, the boy is just not very smart.

You can say that again. I remember when Hannity was pushing Rudy Giuliani in 2008. Despite they fact that Rudy was so liberal he made Romney and Huckabee look conservative. Hannity's reasoning, as best I could decipher it was "Rudy looked presidential on 9/11" and "Rudy cleaned up times square". That was pretty much it, his actual liberal record didn't seem to matter.

Hannity is a tool. I don’t know why Levin insists he is conservative. This is my only criticism of Levin. He’s right on everything else, he’s so wrong with Hannity. They might be buddies, but leave it out of the show. Who cares what they’re wearing.

Successful business people tend to be straight shooters like that. Successful politicians, on the other hand, tend to be just the opposite.

Around here Hannity is the only thing on at 3pm so I hear him a lot in the car.

He always has Rove & Newt on almost every day plus every other RINO in the land.

I am sick of him.

While there may be some truth to that, Bush was his own man and is responsible for his own failings. He could have told Rove no at any time and on any policy advisement.

“Trump claims Rove is actually working for Romney, but on the QT”

To add what I have read here on FR, Rove knows Romney will lose.

He is really behind the cheeky Kenyan bastard which satisfies the rest of the BS (Bush) family. They “believe” that after 8 years of the cheeky Kenyan bastard, they are going to sneak idiot Jeb in as next president.

you said:

Rudy lives a liberal life — but that doesn’t mean he would govern to the left. Huckabee lives conservative, but would not govern to the right really. Rudy insisted many times he would appoint Scalia type judges and he was as conservative as any on taxes and regulation and more conservative on terror than anyone in the 08 field. Might not have been the RINO Prez you think he would have. (just saying, I hate to hijack the main thread...)

Rove is leaving his element by being a “commentator” now...he just causing conflicts that shouldn’t exist. He should stick to being a strategist and a strategist only - not a policy maker or candidate selector. His area of expertise is to put a plan of action together to win an election with what he is given - and he’s good at that. He’s venturing out and picking fights he should not be picking. If he wants to comment on whether or not he think an issue would be effective in terms of a campaign, fine...that’s what he knows about...but he’s gone way beyond that and now has made it personal.

Trump claims Rove is actually working for Romney. . .

And Trump is working for Hillary. He's no conservative and he shows that with every word out of his mouth. So he's dissing Obambi, so what. He's only doing it to discredit one dummie rat for another - Hillary. She can't get in unless all the rats reject Obama, hence, Trump. Trump = Perot and true conservatives need to see him for what he is - a divider of the GOP.

But I agree with everything you said.

Hannity is known as the dunce, the boy is just not very smart, but, but, he’s a Good Amerrrican! Hannity is a cookie cutter conservative...never has he had an original thought in his life. But he seems to appeal to the generic conservative aka Bushie Con.

Hannity and Beck serve the new republicans and uniformed ‘conservatives’. They have a place, getting the word out to the squishy middle. Not my cuppa tea.

Smart reply and right on. I’d love to hear from Cheney also as I think he not only knows where the bodies are buried, he probably put them there!! In my book, he would have made a ring dinger of a President.

So true. . .and refreshing in an otherwise, PC sealed environment where most of our Repubs can be found.

Get furious every time Karl speaks of this; as furious as I was; when this 'don't rock the boat' Repub was giving bad advice to GW. And I want him - and the crybaby naysayers - proven wrong; on the BC issue; inclding Trump's going there.
