Is America really broke? Michael Moore (and others) tells us that there are oceans of cash being hoarded by the wealthy. But Iowahawk (iowahawk.typepad.com) did a little addition, and armed with these statistics Bill and the 'Hawk blow a hole in the "hoarding" lie big enough to fit a documentary filmmaker through.

The rich can not eat precious metals or cash. You can not eat them rich peoples either, unless you have... unusual tastes.
The “rich” have vastly more concern and ability to maintain order than anarchists have in disrupting such order. Things do not always work according to formula and ability however. This is called human nature, or potential, or random outcome... Nature.
The fact is, no one knows what the hells to do, as everything on the planet is in a state of chaotic transition to some as yet to be determined point.

If one has the stomach to listen to Michael Moore’s entire rant, basically what he said was, “Take everything from everyone who has more than I do.” You’ll notice that he did not offer to include himself among those from whom the government would confiscate wealth.
This is a not to worry for the “rich”. The fat turd is for taxing more income because his definition of the rich refers to taxpaying earners, not the truly rich like him. Tax income, not assets is the little lie that he and other democrats push. This is why billionaires like Buffett or Oprah can say that they don’t pay enough taxes with a straight face because most of their wealth is sheltered and not considered to be income that is taxed. Confiscate or nationalize the assets of these assholes or better shift from taxing their income to taxing at 80 to 90% rates, the value of all of their holdings. It won’t take them long to shift their allegences when they truly have to pay. Shove it up their arses and make sure it hurts.
