"On(e) passenger who talked to KATU said he was afraid for his safety during the incident."
I wonder if he was afraid like Juan Williams would have been?

Keep Portland weird??
That’s the offical motto of Austin, TX. Keep Austin weird.
I have a very liberal little brother. He used to live in Austin. Now lives in Portland.
He’s happy there.

Portlanders. Pretty typical. Maybe Amish or Tea Partiers. /s
I was on a flight from Taipei to LAX and some drunk was trying to open the emergency exit at 30,000 ft above the Pacific. Now that's pretty scary. The little Taiwanese flight attendant asked me and a few other guys to take seats back by the drunk in case we needed to render him . . . shall we say . . to put it politely - somewhat sleepy
All six of us were over 6'0 ft and 200 lbs.

I hope you guys will be on my next flight ;-)
Mr. Inspectorette were contemplating a European trip this Fall, but with all the craziness going in the Middle East, I dunno. If Gaddhafi stays in power, there isn't much doubt he'll retaliate against the coalition countries, starting with us.

Its another test to see how Americans will respond. . .It wouldn't end happily for the muslims, I'm afraid. Pretty sure of that in the post 9/11 world

Muslims playing one of their dangerous games again....I would bet the house that they could all speak English. Terrorists don't behave in anything resembling normal behavior....

"maybe they ate the fish?"
Fish would certainly give them a bad case of indigestion! LOL!

A passenger on his hands and knees in the aisle? That’s just Bill Maher trying to get some more frequent flyer miles.

Looking at some of the Google news articles on this, it’s really odd that most of them have no comments...

That’s what I thot — was his butt up in the air? Head pointed toward Mecca? Spoke no English? Wouldn’t get up?
Well, I think they were Muzlimz.

If Gaddhafi stays in power, there isn't much doubt he'll retaliate against the coalition countries, starting with usThat's why I am so surprised that an intelligent, sober fellow like Mr. Obama telegraphed his options publicly to the dear Colonel on Monday night and by Tuesday afternoon, the "rebel" forces were being routed.
By Obama showing his hand publicly to the terrorists, he leaves the sidelines open for an end run.
One of two things is true: 1. Obama is leaving America wide open for terrorist attack - purposely, 2. Obama is the stupidest most unqualified commander of any military force in World history. __________________________

Reading a book about weapons? I would be curious as to which book he was reading. Field and Stream? Tactical nukes for Dummies?

One of them leads the prayer and then they all do that bowing thing. I saw it last week at a soccer practice. Three Muslims pointing their ass to California and praying.
