A 3 part investigation by the Global Post into Kosovo's endemic corruption and what the US, NATO and Western governments knew before we went in, after we went in, and even before we supported Kosovo "independence".

If anyone is buying the propaganda on Libya, then it's worth a look to see what propaganda we were subjected to about NATO & the US's intervention into the Balkans verses the truth.

If it’s corruption they’re lookin’ for, DC’s the place to find it.

To assassination and sex slavery, I would add the recently publicized traffic in human body parts. And the major role in smuggling drugs into Europe from the Golden Triangle.

The presumption is that Clinton got his usual rakeoff from the drug smuggling, as he did from the Latin American cartels.

Now that's gold star material.

The U.S. and it’s allies are run by organized crime at the highest levels.

When this Libya thing started I was immediately reminded of the run-up to the Kosovo intervention. Looks like I was not the only one.

Soros' favorite son in the Senate likes those Kosovar muzzies too.

John McCain armed Kosovo Islamic terrorists

John McCain armed the KLA, Politika

Group tied to al-Qaida backs McCain for prez

Now he wants to arm the Libyan rebels.

There have been a lot of editorial comparisons to Kosovo.

It’s amazing to me how many adults — even adult males — are still in la-la Land about “humanitarian intervention”. It’s like they never grew up or realized that “power corrupts, and absolute power (can) corrupt absolutely”. But among the Liberals, as long as you slap a humanitarian label on it, no matter how many you kill, it’s OK — as long as it’s done in the name of the international community.

The intervention is to stop something worse from happening to use here in the U.S.. After the war in Iraq, Kadafi was fairly quiescent, an aging Michael Jackson of dictators. Obama breathed new life into him. As Rush said today, we hold certain truths to be self-evident, but the Declaration of Independence and Constitution are for our country and don't require us to go around the world aiding this group against that dictator for purposes of "humanitarian intervention" or "spreading democracy."

John the "maverick(TM)" McCain is a legit candidate for all-time loser. I mean, I've heard of people throwing prize fights and shaving points in basketball games but, prior to 08, I never heard about anybody throwing a presidential election. All the guy needed to do was mouth four simple words ('I oppose the bailout') and he'd be president today and he isn't stupid enough not to know that.

The real question of course is whether anybody has ever tried to describe Judas Iscariot as a “maverick(TM)”...

Yes. A puppet show where all the seats in audience are rigged to explode.

For the majority of the people who frequent these Balkan threads, this is not new. It’s simply a validation of what we have been saying for the past 12 years, some ignorant buffoons still continue to apologize for these criminals in order to buttress up their willful deniability.

The neocons around here have also bought into this stupid deranged view of self importance. It's amazing how much intellectual dishonesty is prevalent among the elitists that run this country as though the populous is too stupid to read between the lines.

The Campaign for Liberty commentary yesterday on Facebook said it all to me:

"Woodrow Wilson's current philosophical heirs are the neoconservatives...And the neoconservatives constantly are advocating new militaristic adventures: Syria, Iran, Lebanon, and most recently Libya. Despite past debacles, they continue to receive a respectful hearing in Washington."
