[S]ome rebels shouted, "Sarkozy, where are you?" — a reference to French President Nicolas Sarkozy, one of the strongest supporters of using air power against Gadhafi.

Sarkozy? Didn't they know The One spoke on their behalf yesterday? Apparently, they were as unimpressed with Obama's speech as we were.

It'd be funny if US prestige wasn't being frittered away.

There will be hell to pay for this clown's mistakes.

The big problem is not American prestige but that all these enemies are learning quick when to strike and it's when a Democrat is in the Whitehouse. Used to be they lumped us all together but they are finding out, if the President has an R by his name back off, a D? You can steal city hall.

The world debates, while Gadhafi takes care of business.

This has mission creep written all over it.

Obama has started something that is going to cost us American lives, all in hopes that it will help him get reelected.

I am so fed up.

What we fail to appreciate in Libya is that this is tribal. Ghaddafi’s tribe is the biggest with the number two tribe as his hereditary allies in running the country.

This is as close as you get to stable majority rule as you can get in this two bit country. To overthrow this with minority tribes would less to a chaotic bloodbath. And total instability.

Obama is going to learn that you just don’t start a war and then say, “Oops, my bad”, when the enemy actually fights back.

“There will be hell to pay for this clown’s mistakes.”

Yes, there will be. The blood of our own.... and all so that Obama can be reelected.

But, but, but how come Samantha Powers isn’t hurling some more U.S. Tomahawks at some of these people? Aren’t they committing genocide? Or something? For sure they’re killing each other. Shouldn’t Samantha help kill some more of them too? Or maybe she’s not sure which ones to kill anymore? Or does it matter which ones? Just lob a few more cruise missiles in there and say we did something humanitarian.

“It’d be funny if US prestige wasn’t being frittered away.”

Actually, I think this is the real reason he’s doing this. Just another part of his big plan to destroy U.S. power both domestically and internationally. I mean, after all, if destruction of the U.S. is what he’s up to, he’s doing a damn fine job. Everyone keeps forgetting that destruction of the U.S is what Obama is really up to, and far from being a miserable failure, Obama has been wildly successful at achieving his goals.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. A country that is the biggest industrial power in the world and spends more money on defense than all its allies and adversaries put together is never weak, even under someone like Obama. No one with an IQ above room temperature could ever see the US as weak. The drooling retards bin Laden and Mullah Omar perceived - in a fit of Koran-induced hallucinations - both American and Russian military weakness, deciding that the US was the Byzantine Empire and the Russians were the Persian Empire, both of which - in antiquity - had fought wars over centuries that had exhausted both empires from a manpower and financial perspective, paving the way for Islamic conquest. What these Koranic idiots savant don't seem to have noticed is that the US has never actually fought a war against Russia. This is why the period after WWII (and before the fall of the Berlin Wall) was called the Cold War. We got through the Cold War with manpower and weaponry intact. Whatever bin Laden's fantasies used to be, he now knows - tens of thousands of dead al Qaeda later - that Uncle Sam can pack a punch, even under a Community Organizer like Obama, not because Obama is any great shakes, but because we spend more money on defense than all of the other countries on Earth put together.

A country like Israel needs to demonstrate a willingness to fight. We don't.

Libya may be one of those situations we designed the Neutron Bomb for:

On one side: Gaddhafi - a murderous autocrat and his armies, planes, and navy
On the other: Al Qaedi, Muzzie Bros., Hezbolllah

Program about 300 or so of those bad boys to go off at about 200 feet and then send NATO in with body bags and petroleum engineers.
