I agree with tallyhoe. Why didn’t she get the minister’s name and report him to the police if this really happened? If someone told me something like this I would be worried that he is molesting someone else. Not only was Liz a bad actress, but she was also a boozer and drugged-up hypochondriac, so I question her motives and ability to tell the truth. I also question her ability to think straight—after all, she was married EIGHT times.
I question Marie Osmond’s claim that she was molested. Didn’t her mom chaperone when she toured and she had 8 brothers around her a lot of the time? IIRC she didn’t give any details or names, which bothers me. If you make an accusation you should back it up with the details. Instead she lets the guy get away with it. I get the feeling she used this to sell more books.

No, I don’t agree with you that it was to sell more books. She devoted very little time to the subject, and since she didn’t name names, I assume that was for a reason. I don’t fault her for that. Maybe it was one of her brothers?
Some on here are so danged cynical and suspicious. Her book was very interesting without her having to mention that.
