He’s right, lives have been saved by this intervention. However, if that is so, why didn’t he intervene two-three weeks ago and saved even more lives? I wouldn’t call it particularly timely.

"...An estimated 2,500 lives have been saved thus far..." Yes, but you know dam that that number has been seasonally adjusted...and in addition to being totally unexpected that number will have to be revised downward next week.
