Today, Sen. McCaskill admitted that she failed to pay nearly $287,000 in back taxes on the usage of a private plane.

Disgusting. Where’s the IRS? They hounded us for a check that we sent on time and they lost. Even though we got proof of it being deposited by the IRS, they still bugged us for months.

I doubt seriously that it will make a difference in the campaign. The state senate campaign will be all about McCaskill’s voting record and her ability to represent what is basically a center/right state.
What does she mean about taking full responsibility? If there are no consequences, this is meaningless. She got caught, that’s all.
Two sets of rules: One for the government and one for the people who pay for the government.

I saw her with it a couple of years ago in Mexico, MO... she was picking up Senator Bond for a return flight to Washington...
She was damn proud of it that evening... it got stuck in the mud as her pilots had turned a bit sharp and got it stuck in the grass.
Her comment to the workers that got it unstuck was, “you can afford something like this if you work all of the time!”.

Don’t forget it was Claire who came up with SR 511 making McCain eligible and including the clause that “others once thought not eligible in fact were” (to help Obama) while not vetting Obama at all. By voting for SR 511 both parties were willing to violate the Constitution to make their candidate eligible.
In spite of what Huckabee said, Hillary had enough delegates to sew up the nomination so she did not expose Obama in Jan. 2008. After the Mar. 12, 2008 secret meeting of Congress, Dean forced Hillary’s delegates to switch to Obama at the Convention. They are all traitors.
