My little granddaughter needed to have an ID picture taken so she could run track in her district playground. My daughter had to bring HER ID, as well as my granddaughter’s birth certificate. After standing in a long line, she was told that she had brought the incorrect copy of the BC. The one she brought was the hospital certificate. She needed the one issued by the state. She was, of course, frustrated. I told her she should have told them, “If the President of the U.S. doesn’t have to show his BC, then my daughter shouldn’t need one to run track!”

Personally, the only polls that I trust are those taken a few days before an election. The reason is that the reputation of the polling firm is seriously on the line at that point.

As for this poll....You are likely correct. As Limbaugh might say, it is a “push poll”.

However....I don't think this poll should be entirely discounted. Obama and the question of his status as a natural born citizen is losing in the most important court in our nation: The court of public opinion.

There is NO possible way that Obama will be able to tiptoe around this stinking hulk of road kill blocking the highway to to the 2012 election.

The Senate vote on McCain’s eligibility was a scam. Even Obama who voted on it knew it was to be used for overturning an election result in case McCain/Palin won. Their argument would have been the same that hangs over Obama i.e. McCain was ineligible because he was not born on USA soil but actually on Panama soil. I realize this doesn’t seem to jibe with Obama’s vote in the Senate. However, I believe at that point he would do a turnabout to overturn McCain’s win and with what the courts have been doing as of to date he would be in.

C'mon Nully...0h0m0's girlfriends? Of course you won't find any, unless their names ar Reggie, Young, and Sinclair who played girls!

I doubt it very much.

The person that should be demanding answers is Hillary in the primary for 2012

That's the part I have never understood. Why didn't Hillary's people find out all this stuff about him during her first try for the nomination? It was all there like it is now. I just wonder why no one ever questioned anything about his qualifications.

If the media can't find any childhood friends of Obama to slobber on, this suggests either that he didn't spend his childhood here, or that his friends turned out to be very unsavory characters. As for only 10% of poll respondents believing Obama has proved his eligibility, I can believe that. He hasn't proved it, and everybody knows it, no matter what Pissy Matthews says.

But here we stand on the side of the street, watching an obviously illegal despot take this greatest country to her knees,
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

There are two groups that especially disappointed me:

1) Our highest military.

LTC Lakin testified in his trial the highest military officers told him that they, too, had serious questions regarding the legitimacy of the so-called “Commander in Chief”...yet...These highest military officers did NOTHING to defend the honorable and brave men and women serving under them.

SHAME on them! They let the good men and women serving under them, and Lakin, Cook, and Rhodes, swing slowly in the wind. How can this be good for the morale of our brave troops?

These highest military officers **KNOW** that the person in the White House is a likely usurper and in no way different than the Germans who dressed in military uniforms during the Battle of the Bulge. At the very least they should have requested that congress and the Supreme Court clarify the issue by demanding certified proof.

If, in the unlikely event that I should be in the company of these highest military officers, I will SHUN them! I will TURN MY BACK to them!

2) The so-called “conservative” media. They were ( and are) DESPICABLE!

Shame on Rush Limbaugh for spending less than five minutes (until very recently) on the issue and using that five minutes to use Article 2, Section 1, of the Constitution as a backdrop to lob jokes.

And...I hold Coulter, Beck,Medved, and O’Reilly is special contempt.

Here’s one man’s opinion on that: “If there was any shred of truth to [Obama eligibility conspiracies], Hillary Clinton and her wonderful investigative opposition research machine would have found it and would have used it. For Republicans to even be bringing it up, I think it’s a waste of energy and time.”—Mike Huckabee

They might even know that according to the strict interpretation of the rules, he isn’t eligible, but they don’t care.

Inherent in the leftist worldview is the assumption that the discretion of those alive in the here and now takes precedence over any rule written in the past.

Even the Supreme Court isn’t interested in this issue. Thirteen different appeals challenging Obama’s eligibility have reached the High Court on Petitions for a Writ of Certiorari (a petition to have the Court hear the appeal before the full Court).
The way the Court works is that each Justices’ clerk reads each petition and makes a recommendation to their Justice. If any of the nine Justices is interested, they then request a response brief from the other side (Obama). If even one of the nine Justices requests a response, the appeal is placed on the “discuss” list for Friday conferences and it takes four Justices to agree to hear an appeal before the full Court. If no Justice is interested, the appeal goes on the automatic “Denial” list. Thus far, not one Obama eligiblity lawsuit has made it to the “discuss” list.

I wondered about it too. I believe that removing 0b0z0 from the '08 primary brought the threat of black riots, racism, BLOOD IN THE STREETS, etc.

0b0z0's communists must have threatened Hillary of doom and gloom and the result of blacks and others would vote Republican or not vote at all, resulting in a McPain victory.

I also believe that the deal was S0S for Hillary to prop up her creds and ONE term for 0b0z0 OR ELSE. Hillary said that she won’t be S0S in ’12 and that she doesn’t intend to run for POTUS. So, what gives? She’ll refuse when drafted, for a couple of weeks then “accede to her democrap Farty’s demands to “save the country and the democrap Farty!”

This is part of a theory of mine; 0b0z0 won’t be running in '12, especially when he would be facing eligibility requirements by new state laws.

If this happens, we'll hear the communists accusing Americans of being "not ready for a black president." Forgetting that 0b0z0 would have never been elected in the first place without White vote!

It's always "others" fault, including Bush's, of course!

Re: Hillary

1) Obama has just as much dirty on Hillary as Hillary has on him. Consider it the MAD strategy ( Mutually Assured Destruction). But...Hillary had more to lose. She an Bill would have gone to prison. Obama would have said, “I'm sorry!”, and gone back to his day job as Senator.

2) Hillary knew that if she pushed the issue of Obama’s eligibility that she would have lost the black vote and the election. She likely felt it was better to wait. As it is now, the majority of Americans now have serious questions about Obama’s birth story. Obama will have a hard time getting past this issue in 2012.

"Bill Clinton says Obama camp played race card
Posted by Foon Rhee, deputy national political editor April 22, 2008 05:22 PM

Bill Clinton became a distraction -- again -- today on voting day in Pennsylvania, at least on the cable TV shows and political blogs.

It started Monday when he was asked about criticism over comments he made comparing Barack Obama's sweeping victory in the South Carolina primary in January to Jesse Jackson's wins in that state. Many Obama backers and black Democrats found that dismissive of Obama's standing and some called it racially insensitive.

But on WHYY radio in Philadelphia, Clinton claimed that the Obama campaign was waiting to accuse him of being racially insensitive. "They played the race card on me," he said. When he thought he was off-air, he followed that up by telling an associate, "I don't think I should take any [expletive] from anybody on that, do you?"

Pressed to explain his comments, Clinton seemed to deny today that he said them, though they are on tape.

Obama was incredulous when reporters asked him today about the former president's comments. "I have no idea what he meant," he said. "These were words that came out of his mouth."

Clinton has been both a help and a hindrance to his wife's presidential bid during the campaign. She claims her experience in the White House as a key selling point on her resume, but he has sometimes gone off message with controversial comments. "

We don’t agree often, but this time I think you are right. Obama is losing ground in public opinion, and he is likely to be asked it by people in 2012. Heck, I’d be willing to join demonstrations asking for his birth certificate AND school records! I think he owes the voters all his records, including asking Hawaii to make his birth certificate available to anyone who asks.
