This has already been done years ago. Remember Francis the talking mule, and his half brother Mister Ed?
Some of us have been here a lot longer than ‘71 and that is why David Gates doesn’t mean anything to us. Bread? Was he a baker? :D
Wow... just wow.
Do you know what “breed” means in a scientific sense?
Crossbreed: “To produce a hybrid animal or plant by breeding two animals or two plants of different species or varieties. For example, crossbreeding a male donkey with a female horse will produce a mule.”
This isn’t what happened with the mice experiment she was referring to. All the scientists did was to inject human neural stem cells into developing mouse brains, they didn’t “crossbreed” anything.
Moreover, the experiment did not result in a “FULLY FUNCTIONING HUMAN BRAIN!!!!!” (TM) as O’Donnell claimed.
“This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
Not with a bang but a whimper.”
T. S. Elliot
If man does destroy himself, it won’t be from somebody wearing a suit or a camouflage uniform, it will be from some jackass in a white lab coat going, “Yeah, it might be dangerous, but I want to see how it turns out.”
Since mice who have run through a maze half a dozen times, exhibit fear when placed in the same maze again, are you suggesting O'Donnell has mice brains? ;^)
Speaking of putting human brains in sheep heads:
“He’s that most dangerous of creatures, a clever sheep. ‘e’s realized that a sheep’s life consists of standin’ around for a few months and then bein’ eaten. And that’s a depressing prospect for an ambitious sheep.” /Python
No, tell us what “BREED” means in a nuclear BREEDER reactor.
Explain to us how uranium atoms in a BREEDER reactor create plutonium.
BREED has many different meanings.
How do uranium atoms BREED in a BREEDER reactor to create plutonium fuel?
Breed has many different meanings and many different usages and connotations.
Bill O’Reilly’s “The O’Reilly Factor” is an opnion program, not a scientific journal. People do not use scientific jargon on a news opinion show (necessarily).
You are the one sounding like an idiot.
In the context of what O’Donnell said, “crossbreeding” can only have the definition that I posted for you. Moreover, apart from the “breeding” issue, she said that the mice had FULLY FUNCTIONING HUMAN BRAINS. This is a CATEGORICAL falsehood.
Trying to analogize what O’Donnell said with a breeder reactor is beyond stupid, as “breeder” in the nuclear reactor context would refer to creating more fuel than it consumes, which is entirely inapplicable to anything related to the mice experiment.
As for your ad hominem, you’ve already conceded your point since you retreated to that pathetic tactic. Nice job!

there is a sci fi story which has such an outcome. Some scientist peacenick wants to create a germ which eliminates all violence from humans.
In the end it makes everyone totally incompetent to even manage the simplist survival tasks. Instead of eliminating violence, the germ eliminates inteligence.
