That’s shocking. I’ve seen the celebrations in the mideast, but have never heard about celebrations in dearborn. Do you have a source?

I lived in Michigan for several years and friends from the Detroit area told me about it. Another fellow (a Coast Guard officer) from Detroit told me about the nonsense at the high schools in Dearborn. These schools are little madrassas combining the slack jawed apathy of public schools in Michigan and the hate spewing victimology of ethnic racketeering,

RE: 19
Other men and women. No Satan necessary.

True - but why is that?

Because as Satan lied to our first parents and deceived them into falling into sin - we are all slaves to sin until the Holy Spirit frees us from these chains and cures us of our sin-cursed blindness. Until then, all of us are like the Pharisees who Jesus spoke to, saying:

John 8:44-45 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

And again, until the new birth we (as it is written in Ephesians 2:2-3:
'... walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation [our lifestyle] in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others'.

All because, "the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not..."

So yes, you are correct. Men and women enjoy inflicting pain on one another (James 4:1-2 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.).
But that is because they are slaves of sin - in bondage to Satan and blinded to the fact that we are all the children of the living God (through faith in our Lord Christ Jesus). Satan is the author of misery in his hatred for people (Satan thought he deserved God's preferred place in God's Creation - not lowly man) - but people are his unwitting dupes.
Our prayers are to all peoples - whether muslim, or whatever - that their eyes are opened by the Holy Ghost and they come to a saving faith and trust in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Exactly, but the Left and the Muslims team up (unlikely bedfellows) to collapse the US, which they both hate for her freedoms and Christian Heritage, which they both abhor.

Muslims hate us, we just have the paid traitors like Charlie Rose and Katie Couric telling us, “They are just like you...family values, education...”

They want us dead. Libs want to help.

Mr. Karoub (AP author) is from Dearborn, MI and has articles in HuffPo, too.

I looked up Karoub, it’s a Muslim name.

AP is pro-Muslim and anti-Christian....shocker!

Lots of evidence for God before humanity; none whatsoever for Satan.

Lots of evidence for God before humanity; none whatsoever for Satan.

Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

I don't believe we disagree as to who the serpent was, but in case there were any questions:

Revelation 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

Now whether Satan preceded Adam and Eve his existence - is less clear. In a way, it doesn't really matter - Satan sought to destroy mankind with his deceitful (and subtle) line of questioning with Eve in Genesis 3:1. Thus earning Satan the title of 'a murderer from the beginning':

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Although one can't draw a black and white conclusion as to when Satan was created, the passages in Isaiah 14 indicate that Satan did have an 'entitlement' pride - that would set him at odds with man (who was created in God's image and was intended to have stewardship and dominion over God's Creation).

Isaiah 14:12-15 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

And given that Lucifer (Satan) was an angel (the leader of the fallen ones) - he was considered a 'son of god'. And as it is written in the Book of Job, that would put him at the foundation of the Earth (i.e., before humanity):

Job 38:4-7 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

I believe that the serpent in the garden was God himself, and do not subscribe to New Testament theology.

Best....

Yeah, if it wasn’t for their Koran that calls for murdering anyone who disagrees with them, treating women worse than animals, and blowing up innocent people, they might have a point.

I believe that the serpent in the garden was God himself, and do not subscribe to New Testament theology.

I won't address the second point -- other than I certainly encourage you to seek a subscription (it's free!) -- but just a couple of comments on the first point:

Although God may test HIS people, HE does not lead them into sin, nor can HE lie. Genesis 3 shows this serpent doing both:

1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

In verses 1, 4, and 5 the serpent (Satan) through subtle deception leads the woman (Eve) into sin. He led her to doubt God's Word, and planted the seed of pride.

And after the devastation of sin coming into the world, God pronounces HIS judgment on the serpent in verses 14 and 15. Eventually the 'seed of the woman' would crush the head of the serpent (while HIMSELF suffering a wound to his heel).

Now if you close off the New Testament - it might not be so clear that the serpent is Satan -- but the serpent certainly isn't God (this would require God to lie; to deny HIS own Commandments; and ultimately to condemn HIMSELF to have HIS head crushed by a seed of the woman).
In the Old Testament we just get a few glimpses of Satan (the previously referenced passage in Isaiah where we see Lucifer in his pride), and in the Book of Job -- where we get a clear indication of Satan's pathological hatred of man. Rather than admitting that there was one 'decent' human being (Job), Satan did all he could to destroy him.
And all of these characteristics are consistent with the actions of this serpent: Hates mankind. Uses whatever deceptions and tricks he can to lead mankind into sin (read Job about the lengths Satan went to get Job to 'curse God'). Full of pride (which is a sin he infected mankind).

I think the conclusion is clear -- but its certainly clearer if you use the New Testament Revelation's Chapter 20 reference (Revelations 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years) ... which is not only a clear definition of the serpent, but also (I believe) an expanded commentary on Isaiah 27:1

In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.

Where this Leviathan is a picture of Satan - Rahab (Psalm 89:10). Man might not stand a chance against this Leviathan -- but God can destroy him.

God Bless.
