U.S. troops are gunned down by a shooter who screams “Allahu akbar!” before opening fire. Official statements are rushed out: The perpetrator was a lone wolf; his motive was unclear; there are no links to terrorism. Sound familiar? It should, because when Islam is at the cause of American tragedy, President Obama hides his head in the sand.
On Wednesday, a young Kosovar named Arif Uka opened fire on a bus load of U.S. Air Force personnel in Frankfurt, Germany, killing two and wounding two more. Witnesses say he repeatedly shouted the jihadist battle cry, “Allahu akbar” as he emptied his weapon and screamed “Jihad! Jihad!” when tackled by German police. Mr. Uka’s victims had been heading to the fight in Afghanistan but because the jihadists have a global battlespace, the war came to them instead.
Mr. Obama made a typical noncommittal statement shortly after the shooting, saying it was a “stark reminder of the extraordinary sacrifices that our men and women in uniform are making all around the world to keep us safe, and the dangers that they face all around the globe.” He made no mention of the nature of the threat or the reason for the sacrifices. In this respect, he was behaving true to form.

The Obama administration’s knee-jerk instinct to deny reality in hopes it will go away is clearly not working. How many Americans have to die before Mr. Obama at long last admits the nature of the Islamist threat that killed them?

If I hadn’t given up on this President before, I have now. This guy cannot see any wrong in what the radical Muslims are doing all over the world. Whether its a family slaughtered by Muslim pirates, the Ft Hood murders, and once again this German Muslim, our closet Muslim leader cannot bring himself to act to condemn let alone avenge. What a useless piece of traitorous scum we have as a President. Long live the USA.

Obama said in his book Audacity of Hope that he would stand with Moslems. It’s best that we not forget that.
The editorial is right on, and the comments are mostly right on, but we shouldn’t forget who told us that “Islam means peace” a few days after Muslims had murdered 3,000 on 9/11. This refusal to call Islamic terrorist Islamic terrorist has been around since 9/11 and many areas of our government and society need to change course on this avoidance of reality.
Actually, the terrorists were described much more accurately before 9/11 than since. At least we called them “Islamic fundamentalist” and terrorists instead of this dancing on the head of a a pin lunacy since 9/11.

Note also the typical Muslim gratitude: we stole Kosovo from the Orthodox Christian Serbs and gave it to the Albanian Muslims, and he repays us by shooting two American soldiers.

There's absolutely no question that the Kenyan Clown is well aware of the meaning and significance of "Allah Akbar."

The very first words of the adhan which the Kenyan Clown so happily recited for the New York Times are "Allah Akbar", repeated two or four times. The Kenyan Clown believes the sound of this recitation to be "one of the prettiest sounds on Earth".
