MITROVICA, Kosovo -The gunman suspected of killing U.S. airmen outside Frankfurt airport is a German-born devout Muslim who works at the airport, according his uncle.

In an interview with The Associated Press in Kosovo, 70-year-old Rexhep Uka said the suspected gunman — Arid Uka — was born and raised in Germany after his parents moved there from Kosovo about 40 years ago.

The uncle says Arid is a pious Muslim whose grandfather was a religious leader at a mosque in the village of Zhabar, near Mitrovica, Kosovo.

Murat Uka, who identified himself as the alleged shooter's father, says the only thing he knew about his son was that he hadn't turned up at work on Wednesday.

Obama said we will get to the bottom of this. But I have a feeling that Obama will bypass the fact that this guy is Muslim. Since we can’t criticize Islam in any way, we will have to search for other reasons why this guy committed an unimaginable act.

No doubt we’re to blame. That’ll be NPR’s take on things.

No..., I can’t believe it. /s

And yet, Grasshopper still hasn’t come to grips with the reality of the Fort Hood shooting yet.

I was wondering about this.

I lived in Germany for 9 years and never saw any Amish folk riding around in buggies.

Yes. It’s our fault for sending in NATO, taking Kosovo from Serbia, and giving it to the Muslims. They wanted to do it themselves, probably, so they could blow themselves up and get their virgins.

Well, if he’s a Muslim, then I guess he gets a pass.

Isn’t it amazing the similarity between this and the Fort Hood shooting. Both gunmen yelled something like, “God is great!” just before killing our military members..

I once voiced a problem with an obvious member of the ROP working a security checkpoint in Frankfurt.

All the Germans laughed, rolled their eyes and agreed with me.

They're all over the place there. Out on the tarmac, driving the buses, working the bags and....even working security.

Was only a matter of time.

I should probably clarify: there are no blonde-haired, pink-cheeked, stout, Lutheran Muslims.

Yes and to add insult to injury, the guy "'self-radicalized' himself."

Sound insane, yes this type of excusing language so they don't need to tie this guy to anyone or any group. That way, no need to investigate where the dude goes for his "religious services," or who does he hang with, or who are his idols.
