Oh, sorry! You are sooooo much smarter than I am and I cringe and tremble at your condescending admonishment. Get bent...

I don’t see any first amendment violation there.

Leaving the petty bickering aside, I thought the guy that had the guts to burn that Koran was a hero. It really ticked me off when I read Christie’s comments on the issue. He seemed to revel in the guy’s dismissal.

He’s got big brass ones, I’ll give him that. We need 1,000 of him with a better grip on social/cultural and foreign policy issues. That’s his biggest weakness. He’s only good on one of the three legs of the stool.

That's fine. The story I looked at had Christie saying he was "fine" with the guy getting fired. NJ Transit said he violated their Code of Ethics. I'm sure it'll be dealt with in court. I'm not sure what you think the Governor was supposed to do about it.

I’m very much against a Christie run for a myriad of reasons but I also pick up a Left Media PR campaign for blowhard and unattractive Christie very similar to their touting of other losers like Huckster and McCain. the left is giving Christie a lot of attention and his massive ego has already damaged him, he appears to be a bully, pro-islamic, anti-2nd A, etc....he is not worthy, let him stay in Jersey and maybe just maybe actually succeed in some way other than promoting himself!

There's no one the media touts more than Mrs. Palin.

the left is giving Christie a lot of attention

Not nearly as much as they give Mrs. Palin

and his massive ego has already damaged him,

Saying a governor has a big ego is like saying a Puerto Rican likes beans and rice.

he appears to be a bully

Whiny Democrat canard.

pro-islamic,

This is bigoted nonsense.

he is not worthy, let him stay in Jersey and maybe just maybe actually succeed in some way other than promoting himself!

I agree. Half a term as governor doesn't qualify someone for the presidency. I'd like him to serve two terms here.

IMO, the Christie phenomenon is real, not media generated. The reason for it is simple--the GOP hopefuls are a pathetic bunch of losers. People are desparately looking for someone who is competent. Christie seems to be that guy, so he's getting a lot of press.

I agree the attention might go to his head. Hubris is a risk. Hopefully he can manage it. It's not easy. Anyone who has ever been a rock star can tell you, it's not easy to stay grounded.

Thanks for the response Huck....nothing like a good snark w/ bullet points, eh? Did I mention SP? Why so defensive about Christie, check out what the NJ Conservatives are saying about CC, seems their waking up to the reality that Christie's All HAT and NO CATTLE or Bigmouth w/Shortstick. I'm definitely not favoring Christie, Newt or Mitt, we'll just see who else enters.
