Her chief of staff provided the following statement to New York Magazine in response to Karl Rove:

"Of all the potential candidates, Governor Palin would no doubt be the one desiring new energy and ideas…and, refreshingly, hiring advisers who aren’t entrenched in any political machine."

I agree with you. The facts really do mean nothing, don’t they? This Glassner worked for Dole and McCain. That is a fact. It really means nothing, doesn’t it?

Are you crazy?

Same day? Try WHILE she gave her acceptance speech!

Yes, it was completely breathtaking and unbelievable. What sort of baby would do that? Someone who didn't care one whit about the Republican party, the aspirations of Conservatives and the very freedom of America. In short, he was determined to see that O'Donnell lost because it would help Palin too much and put the lie to his own "master" plan of moving the Republicans to the "center."

And although his resume is quite impressive, there's still the fact that he was a senior insider of two of the worst campaigns in recent history.

Ultimately, this reasoning is completely flawed, because it rules out anyone with experience. He was no where near senior in McCain's campaign, and frankly, if you get your guy to "nominee" for President, you have won every election up to that point. Everyone else lost. In the end, they all have lost.

It is a stupid thing to say or do.. to group a whole campaign staff together and trash them at once. This is what you were doing before though by calling Glassner an insider in the first place. This is inductive reasoning, which sometimes works but is subject to the flaws that all generalizations create, bad, stupid, uninformed statements and actions if folks accept the premise of this stuff.

We are not destroying ourselves... your party elite are the ones that are doing that all by themselves. I no longer care... I despise the republicans almost as much as I do the rats.

And the bastard did it to himself.

I don’t know either one of them personally, but to say that Glassner has had no association with RINO elitists would be dishonest.

Both of them have.

Mmm.. I believe so, but the kick is not so much because of showing the idiocy of the statement, but rather, it is like hearing a bugle on the horizon if you are one of the Indians who just got through savaging a group of settlers.. that sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach that things are going to get a whole lot tougher soon.

The Republican elites have been trying to talk Sarah out of this race by trashing her and saying it is impossible and this statement small and simple as it is establishes many things all at the same time. First, Glassner is considering a Presidential Campaign. This is huge. Second, that team Palin will be looking for folks who have thus to date considered 2nd rank, oddball or outsider operatives who do not value the old rules and the game as it has been defined thus far.

This doesn't mean that you can't be experienced, but it means you need to be willing to operate in a new world. A world populated by Tea Partiers. Main Stream Republicans try to condescend to the Tea Party but in the end, these folks just plain frighten them. These people are serious about ending the "gravy train" and this is not what the professionals want. They want to do "business as usual" with all of the perks and graft and back scratching and favors and ear marks and donations and patronage that have polluted our system and taken us to the brink of losing our very freedom.

Palin needs folks who are not wedded to maintaining this status quo. Folks like Governor Walker who said he was going to restore fiscal sanity and even do that if it hurts and was unpopular with some of the chattering class. Palin locked GOP corrupt bastards in jail without blinking an eye and there are corrupt bastards in Washington willing to do almost anything to resist a real house cleaning.

But, thats what we need.

This isn’t just about Rove. It is about Glassner who worked for failed RINO Dole and failed RINO McCain.

We agree they are failed RINOs, right?

Rove is a jackass, and Glassner likes RINOs too or he wouldn’t have worked for them.

Who knows? Maybe he just likes whoever pays him. Lots of these guys are like that.

What a god awful photo.

Yeah!

Why doesn't she get her fish from the grocery store like everybody else, instead of catching and killing them herself?
