Christine O'Donnell mulls 'Dancing With The Stars' invite

Tea Party favorite Christine O'Donnell says she's been invited to be a contestant on TV's "Dancing with the Stars." But the losing Senate candidate from Delaware isn't sure she should accept, saying she has two left feet and a book about politics to complete.

The conservative Republican, who lost to a Democrat amid controversy over past statements about youthful dabbling in witchcraft, is soliciting opinions on her Facebook page.

O'Donnell says her initial reaction was to say "no" to the show, but others are encouraging her to accept. O'Donnell writes she's flattered, but a 2-year-old nephew has more rhythm than she does.

A program representative said Tuesday it has no comment on casting speculation, adding a new cast will be announced next week.

I have to say I hope she declines the offer. Just imagine the political ads that could be made out of her appearances if she runs for office again.

Oh please! I think it ought to be a bylaw of Tea Party Membership (and GOP membership if we get control of it) that one must, in writing, agree to have NOTHING TO DO with Reality TV.

I got an idea:

How about as a requirement for tea party membership, one accepts there are no rules.

Only FREEDOM. Along with a healthy amount of defiant individualism.

It sure didn’t hurt Bristol Palin.

She should do it. Lots of women watch that show and she could connect with those women who are also VOTERS.

I can just see DWTS picking that song “ooh ooh witchy woman” as her 1st tune to dance to. LOL

There has to be a Ted Nugent exception. If Ted creates a "kill something and eat it" reality show Tea Partiers should be encouraged to appear.

DWTS is not reality TV. It’s a celebrity dance competition.

I read somewhere that she considered her decision to hire that fool add maker (I’m not a witch add) the biggest mistake she ever made. I got the impression she was wising up to the predatorial left. Lets hope she doesn’t try to ‘reach out’ to these vicious maligners. It will be a test of her future viability.
