Pirates are now saying the yacht hijacked from a SoCal couple will make landfall in Somalia on Sunday, which may lessen the chance of a rescue at sea.
The pirates took control of the yacht Quest on Friday in the Arabian Sea off the coast of Somalia.
The Quest belongs to Jean and Scott Adam, two members of the Del Rey Yacht Club in Marina Del Rey. The Newport Beach couple has been sailing around the world since 2004 on their yacht, posting updates on their website. The trip was part adventure, part ministry, as they handed out Bibles along the way.
Two other Americans were captured along with Jean and Scott Adams, though they have not yet been identified.

Agreed. Why is it that everytime we have to send in the rescue mission its for some bunch of misguided missionaries handing out bibles. I’m all for spreading the word but how about to somebody who might be interested? Somalia? I don’t think so. Well those poor folks will have months if not years to sit and try to convert the Muslim pirates who have just captured them. It will be interesting to see how that turns out.
The muslim barbarians have most-likely strapped IEDs to their hostages. This will end badly.

Make that four American hostages distributing Bibles in the Muslim world and you might have a reaon for presidential inaction.
They were not proselytizing and they were not in Samalian waters. This culture of pirates needs to be destroyed. They are a threat to shipping in the entire Indian ocean.
They were just taking a pleasure trip. They had a few Bibles, which were to be given to Christian churches in Africa, where Bibles and church supplies are hard to get.
They were not “distributing Bibles in the Muslim world” and had nothing to do with Muslims at all. They were seized while sailing in international waters, which is where the Somali pirates capture virtually all of their victims.
This should not be allowed to happen to any American or anybody at all, for that matter, and there is no excuse for Bambi’s inaction.

Obama would be able to utter a line like that only if Van Jones were kidnapped by Tea Partiers in Georgia...

That would be interesting but perhaps not productive. I come from the CORE founding at Yellow Springs and SDS in Boston. Saw the light in 85 and followed Horowitz and Limbaugh out of the madness.
