NAIROBI (KTLA) -- U.S. military officials say they're prepared to rescue four Americans who are reportedly aboard a yacht that was hijacked by Somali pirates in the Indian Ocean.
On Friday, a distress signal was sent by the boat from the middle of the Indian Ocean, according to the French news agency AFP.
The hijacking was first reported by Ecoterra International, which monitors regional maritime activity.
Ecoterra said the S/V Quest was seized 240 nautical miles (275 miles) off the coast of Oman.
Two of the four U.S. citizens being held captive aboard the S/V Quest have been identified as Scott and Jean Adam, the owners of the boat.
The other two people have not been identified.

I know, maybe Obama took laser like decisive action during the “summer of recovery” and we just happened to miss it. Maybe Obama is “allowing this to play out” before he saves the day... kinda like he did with Iran and a few dozen other important issues.

A curious turn of words. One would ASSUME they are “prepared”.
My guess is they are waiting for an O.K. from the Idiot in Change who is reluctant to administer much needed Yankee Justice to poor benighted villains of the third in desperate need of the same.
This has the finger prints of Obama, Holder and all the other “anti-colonist” racist bastards in the current administration.

And locate the pirates bases and napalm them.
I’d love to see the Navy Seals given total discretion to use this as a live training exercise. Have the SEAL team do a HALO drop aways away from the yacht, so the pirates wouldn’t ever know anyone had spotted them. Then, the only thing they would know is when the team took each one of them out silently and lethally, leaving the hostages intact. Then the bodies dumped over the side.
That’s when the rest of the exercise goes after the mother ship, rescues any further hostages and then sinks the ship. Oh, and leave one pirate alive to go back and tell all his buddies what happened.

I’d go for that. That would be the Air Force’s contribution. Timed for right after the one pirate got back home to tell his story to the town.

The new Odumbo rules for peaceful disarmanent of the military to deal armed pirates and terroists. the goal is that they will see that the americans just want to their friends.
I would like to see a Trident class sub pop up about a hundred feet away from these so called pirates.
