Members of an African American Student Union were left open-mouthed and outraged after a white, freshman was hired for a top job within the group.
Torey McCleskey, a first year student at University of North Florida, was handed the coveted assistant director role, after a unanimous decision from the institution's Senate.
However AASU members argue that Mr McCleskey, an athletic training and sports medicine student, has never actually set foot in the AASU's office.

The Africans have a point. They won’t be able to perform to the best of their ability unless they are under the direction of someone OF THEIR OWN KIND.
Same for the White Student Union. Fair is fair. What? There isn’t any White Student Union.

Bwahahahahaha...that forced diversity thing can cut both ways.
Better qualified? Christa Merix was up for the job along with one other. The AASU argue that both were much more qualified for the position than Mr McCleskeyGet with the program, people. It's not about "qualifications"... it's about "inclusion".
Well, sorta. The qualification they are referring to is 'level of melanin'. It's all about race.

I had a person send a resume with “African Student Union” member listed as an activity. It told me a lot about them; I picked someone with more experience (also black) who listed what they could do instead. The former was apparently angling for a token diversity seat-warming job; the limited skills in no way matched even the field we work in.
By their rules of giv me; giv me and giv me; this is only fair.

I sometimes think that a fully collapsed economy would be a good thing, since these spoiled brats would have to worry about more important things than this.
How about this:
Blacks will run things that they pay for and companies they build, while whites run things that they pay for and companies they build. Same with countries. If whites pay more, they run it. If blacks pay more, blacks run it.
Yes, two can play that game!
One good thing about Obama, he showed that affirmative action is a failure and he made the race card worthless.

The soft bigotry of lowered expectations. Someday they’ll learn, grow up, and people will take them seriously.
To have ANY organization on the campus of a publicly funded school where your primary entrance qualification is the color of your skin should be unlawful.
As far as they are concerned, it is fully collapsed; their unemployment is worse, and will be the slowest to recover. The housing collapse left their neighborhoods even more dysfunctional. They can either grow up or fade into insignificance, replaced by our southern cousins in the workforce, our cities, our government, and even our prisons.
