Just got off the phone with a pollster paid for by the Democrats. I can see now what they are going to throw against George Allen. 1- Abramoff 2- not really fiscally conservative 3- he was a big pork barrel politician 4- They threw other potential names up there, too including John Grisham
I finally told the pollster, I don’t care who the Republican is and I don’t care who the Democrat is. I will be voting for the Republican. I will never forgive Tim Kaine for going around and promoting Obamacare. What a jerk.
Did you say you found Kaine’s policies eyebrow raising....?
Seriously, is that all they've got? Kaine? With a decent campaign manager, Allen should win handily (but with today's GOP pros, I shudder).
Just the thought of a Senator Tim Kaine from VA gives me an uncontrollable urge to go flush a toilet.
What sucks, is sadly it would be a tough race between Kaine and Allen, if the race isn’t handled correctly. After seeing how Allen ran in 2006, I don’t have much faith in him, but I’m sure he’s better than that.
If Kaine is indeed running, the GOP should immediately go aggressive and tie Kaine to 0bama. They could EASILY do so, because of Kaine’s DNC chairmanship. They should try to knock him out early by joining Kaine and 0bama at ‘the hip’. This would put Kaine on the defensive, and force him to run away from 0bama, which would piss off their kook base, then Allen would easily win.
May be a Kaine pollster.
It would be awfully nice of the Dems to run Kaine.
If Kaine’s campaign is run like this poll, he’s got a good shot at winning. I’ve never heard a poll so good. :-) Couldn’t tell who they were pushing. I’m not a novice. Finally at the end they tell you who paid for the poll.
Bring it on.
Wrong, it would just made sure that all of the minorities and retired government employees turn out to vote in the eastern part of the state and kaine would win going away, while allen was looking for mycacca, are whatever.
I seriously hope that Tim Kaine stays where he’s at. He is far more useful to conservatives as DNC Chairman than he ever could be as a losing Senate candidate.
