Why do they assume the tribe wants to stay in their current conditions like some sort of ‘zoo animal’ for these environmentalists? Maybe they would be happier in civilization where they have less to worry about disease, bad water, or jaguars eating them.
IIRC, there was also a tribe in Papau/New Guinea.
But several ‘untouched’ tribes have been found during the last 50 years.
