I have a relative that recently got employed with a government run agency. Not super high clearance, but he had to supply all kinds of info about his parents, his birth, his residences...but, the President of the United States—nah!
The social security number I use most has no 2’s
The Obama shenanigans have become utterly ridiculous, but nobody is daring to laugh. Who would have standing to complain? The persons (doubtless deceased) who originally owned the SSNs? The Social Security Administration?

If I remember correctly, he worked in a Fast Food Place in Hawaii when he was young. What did he use for a Social Security Number for his employment there?

I speculate that people who use multiple social security numbers might include otherwise disqualified people who apply for federal, state, and local government financial benefits such as welfare, food stamps, medical care, and education financial aid.
Obama/Soetero, if he has multiple social security numbers, might have some skeletons in his closet in relation to some of the abovementioned financial benefits. That is, I speculate that it is possible that Obama/Soetero flimflammed the government by fraud for financial gain early in his adulthood.
Another reason to have multiple social security numbers is if the first social security number(s) is (are) connected to (a) different legal or assumed name(s). That is, at some point in his life, Obama/Soetero needed to change his name by an other than legal manner, and doing so triggered a need for him to have a new social security number because he was pretending to have a name that was different from the name that he actually had.
If there are other, more likely, reasons for having multiple social security numbers for someone in Obama/Soetero's situation early adulthood, I would be very interested to learn them. So far as I am aware (I am not a lawyer), having multiple social security numbers, for any purpose, is illegal.
I wonder if any of the other people using the other social security numbers ever surfaced in public.

FWIW my pal and I both applied for Soc.Sec.#’s in Conn., in ‘74, so we could get part time jobs (as 16 yr. olds). We both mailed our applications, at the same time, in the same mailbox. Consistent with the information in the article, his number began with 046, and mine began with 048. We had to send our applications to Boston, by the way. Not sure if this adds any value to the conversation, just a footnote. Also, State Sen. Mike McLachlan (R-CT), who is coming under heavy fire for introducing a so called “Birther Bill” was our classmate. To top it off, Orly Taitz, and I work in the same town (RSM, CA). BORN under a lucky star ? ;)

Government is officially a criminal enterprise. Just look at how the Social Security Administration reacted to this: henceforth the policy will be to "shuffle the deck", so to speak, so that glaring examples of fraud are not so easily spotted. Makes things uncomfortable for the poohbahs when the people can put 'em on the spot... can't have that.
Obama has likely used several social security numbers too, but the Connecticut one he has used has been confirmed.
Others like this one below from Michigan has not been confirmed. Find a document where he used this SS number then we got him on some more poop.
Sometime this year in June as I recall that the numbers will not be assigned by state, and likely because Obama has been outed on his use of multiple social security numbers that some Obama appointed flunky wants to change it.
Articles of impeachment are due and payable.
