“Your Hebrew is not good” Perhaps you should brush up on your Hebrew yourself, friend. Contrary to what you assert, the Hebrew word for “Lord” is NOT spelled alef-resh-dalet-vav-nun. My years of formal training in biblical Hebrew are mostly long gone, but I can tell you there is NO “resh” in either Adonai or the Tetragrammaton, two Hebrew words which are translated “Lord” by Jewish people (as you know, the Tetragrammaton is read as “Lord” out of respect by the Jewish people - google it is you have need to be refreshed on this Biblical Hebrew 101 concept).

Why do people feel compelled to speak authoritively on that which they apparently know very little about. Adonai is one of the most important Hebrew words that a first year student memorizes.

You are correct. Funny. I included a resh because I was spelling it out in English letters. In Hebrew, a resh is called a "proud dalet" because it does not have the mark of humility. Ad-nai is spelled alef-dalet-nun-yod.

Next time I will type slower. Regardless, "yahweh" is not "L-rd" in Hebrew nor is a yod, a hey, a vav, and a heh.
