No question about his strength of will, which is impressive. . .That said, in addition to his 'gun issues' do not like his Muslim 'reach out' MO. . .at all.
No candidate perfect; but these two things, make it now, impossible for me to support him. Good luck to him in New Jersey; and think, he needs to stay there.

I will probably post this several times over the next few weeks Which is against the rules here that you would probably know if you checked in more than once every couple of weeks.
And you might want to read all the comment above mine.

Guns are tools too. I like them in our hands, not the hands of criminals or statists. Guns aren’t evil, but some people are.

They ALL SAY that.
If he didn’t want the job, he wouldn’t have the website and wouldn’t be putting people like Basileus up to pimp for him.

We appear to be in violent agreement, mostly.
Fix the people, don’t remove the tool.

I AM FROM New Jersey and will say that I am disappointed in Christie in many ways. He folds on many issues to the radical left-wing here from the recent signing of the bullying bill that appeases the perverts and allows them further into our schools in order to indoctrinate children to his appointment of radical Islamist judges to his failure to act in regards to un-Constitutionality of Obamacare, the list is growing and in many ways he seems to have a strong RINO streak in him.
Also from Jersey and my first reaction was PLEASE DON'T. In addition to TheBigIf's objections add, open borders, loves illegal aliens, is for cap and trade, prefers using tax money to lure windmill farms rather than developing that nasty oil and natural gas off shore.

I live in New Jersey and have lived in New Jersey since 1982. I know as much as anyone about New Jersey politics and what is particular, different and maybe even unique to politics in New Jersey.
What “fits” in New Jersey, does not necessarily mean it is fit for the nation. What works for New Jersey, will not necessarily work for the nation. What is needed and possible in New Jersey, is not necessarily the same for the nation.
For NEW JERSEY Christie is O.K. in my book; but JUST O.K.
But, no, I would NOT vote for him for him in a primary for a GOP POTUS run.
He IS NOT “the one”.

I would definitely vote for him. I am tired of ineffective true conservatives. CC can think on his feet quicker than any politician I have ever seen. He routinely puts the unions and the press in their place.
The biggest threat facing our nation right now is the debt, and I believe CC would do a better job in tackling this behemoth than any other candidate.
Not as long as he is an open borders, pro illegal, pro amnesty guy! Illegal cost the us 113 billion and NJ 3.5 billion per year net, using the out of date figure of 13 million illegals int he us. The actual figure is 3 times that.
