He’s good as far as he goes, but he doesn’t go far enough into the C column for me.
Let’s face it: he got elected in NJ, and east coast definitions of “conservative” differ from those of us in fly-over country.

RINO.
We've had enough of folks like him already.

I will probably post this several times over the next few weeksDon't bother.
Christie is this year's version of Rudy Guilliani.
Folks here aren't going to support a gun grabbing, amnesty advocate.

Are you sure? The Vikings don't need a Quarterback that badly do they?
Er... What else would we draft him for?

Sorry, no sale.
I like Chris Christie and the guy makes good YouTube videos but there are some troubling questions about his conservative bona fides when it comes to gun rights and Muslim terrorists. He’s a good governor for New Jersey and that is where he should stay.

Woodrow Wilson was born in VA, got his Law degree in NC and his Doctoral in MD. Would you consider him one of the shining elite in non-Northeast Presidents?

His appointment for NJ attorney general was a left wing anti gunner. Based on his actions here, why would you even think he'd do the right thing with appointments at the executive level if here were POTUS?
I voted for him here in NJ, no way in hell would I ever vote Christie for president. Every NE Republican has a streak of statist in them and Chris Christie is no exception.

Yeah...just what we need...another freekin RINO.
To: Uriah_lost
I was erring on the side of caution. I didn’t want to incite anyone. I’m not a fan of him for Pres, but he’s perfect for NJ.

I would definitely vote for him. I am tired of ineffective “true conservatives”. CC can think on his feet quicker than any politician I have ever seen. He routinely puts the unions and the press in their place.
The biggest threat facing our nation right now is the debt, and I believe CC would do a better job in tackling this behemoth than any other candidate.

Thanks for keeping on it and letting everyone know. If I didn’t read FreeRepublic I wouldn’t have had a clue. It can’t be repeated too often!
To: Lazlo in PA
No I would not consider him one of the shining best.
He is almost an exception to my rule. Almost since he spent how many years at Princeton?

I’m sure he spending cuts would be great. But his supreme court nominees would DESTROY our country.
No thanks.

No Chris Christie
He is a Gun Control Extremist. He also supports the building of the Islamic Terrorist Shrine Mosque in NYC (9/11 Mosque)
Great that he is trying to cut taxes....but besides that he is a Liberal. I want to be able to defend myself, and I do not want leaders who pander to Islam and Islamic Terrorism

I can name at least three better than he. Michele Bachmann has him beat by a mile. He's just fine for NJ. Let's just keep him there. There has been a couple articles about him lately that shows he is only conservative on selective subjects.
