Keller is an incompetent boob. He should be focusing on his dwindling readership and revenues.

Hilarious. Have you looked at your own house Bill. You are a failure and everyone knows it. Remember how you got your job?

You run a dishonest paper with zero subscriptions.

“and I, you know, make no connection between the guy who shot those people in Tucson and the national discourse”

Then why did you bring it up? Oh, I know, so you can blame Fox News for the shooting without really doing so.

I know, for a fact, that everyone—including the president—who says civility has nothing to do with the shooting and then goes on to say that, yes, civility is lacking fully expects the audience to connect the shooting with incivility nonetheless. Why else bother connecting the two?You can complain about civility whenever you want; no one’s stopping you. Why bring it up, for instance, at a memorail service, of all places? Might as well talk about energy-efficient bulbs, for all its relevance.

The only reason it continues to be brought it up in connection to the shooting is the same reason it was brought up in the first place. Namely, they want to connect incivility, and specifically right-wing incivility to the shooting. It couldn’t be clearer. Or more shameful.

“these lying Democrat journolist scumbags need to get their stories straight - - who shot Giffords, Palin or Murdoch?”

Isn’t Palin a Fox News “contributor,” or however they put it? So what’s the difference?

I don't think Marvin Kalb should escape notice here. He's the most left-biased human being who ever pretended to be an "objective" journalist. Trust him to feed Keller political ammunition in the form of questions.

Kalb used to moderate CNN's Reliable Sources. I renamed it Unreliable Sources. That name still applies under Howie Kurtz though Kurtz is much fairer than Kalb ever was.

That’s a good point.

Question for Carlos Slim: How's that investment working out for ya?

He loaned them money at 14% interest, payable in both stock and cash. The stock price has doubled since he invested so I guess he is doing OK.
