I didn’t realize that Palin’s base was social conservatives. Tea party conservatives as much as social conservatives, but there are many who are both. Isn’t Huckabees base social conservatives who are not necessarily limited government conservatives or tea party conservatives.
Yes, everyone is flawed, but, none so much as the pretender-in-chief currently occupying 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Why didn’t they do a hit piece on him and Hillary before the 2008 election? Guess they couldn’t get their heads out of his stinking butt long enough.
And I pray that they will all make a very big deal out of showing off their long-form BC when they throw their hats in the ring!
By 2020 Herman Cain will be 75. Now is his time to shine he is by far the most electable and most conservative in the 2012 field. Plus he took on Bill Clinton in a battle of wits and won hands down, not something that is easy to do when you are dealing with a compulsive liar. Name one other prospective GOP pres candidate who could’ve done the same?

Palin’s got all three legs of the Reagan conservative stool—with the small government, economic leg of the Tea Partiers being one of them.
Her success IMO will be based in part in getting the libertarian (that is, tea party) side of her message out to voters, as she successfully did up in Alaska, whereas the Dems and MSM want to keep her in a tidy little social-conservative box.
And yes, I think tea partiers already get that about her.

Just another Joe, a military veteran of the United States Navy, has opened a bank account and is actively seeking donations to that account.
Just another Joe has not revealed whether or not he will seek the nomination of any parties currently active in the United States of America. Political pundits believe that Just another Joe may start his own party, The Average Joe Party, in an attempt to drain votes from ALL the other current political parties.
Under federal election law, an exploratory committee allows an individual to travel and gauge the level of support for a candidacy without formally declaring themselves a candidate and adhering to all the federal rules of fundraising.
Just another Joe has revealed that he will gauge the level of support in Boracay, Philippines before trying to estimate support anywhere else.
Just another Joe’s stands on gun control, private property rights, the war in Iraq, and many other Constitutional stands have alienated him from many parties looking for a candidate that adheres only to the party platform.
In an interview with this reporter, Just another Joe said that he would do what seemed best for his country, whether that was running for the nomination of an existing party, starting his own party, or just taking the money in the account and using it for a vacation to the Philippines. (Many political pundits believe that the third option is most likely best for the stabilization of the current political parties.)
However skilled, conservative, and politically astute Cain may be (his political executive resumé is a bit thin), America is not going to give the White House to a second untested person of color right on the heels of the abject disaster that The Obama Experiment dissovled into.
This isn't an Affirmative Action contest to see who can elect the most effective minority, this is about saving the Nation we inherited by electing that person who has most ably and definitvely demonstrated their proven ability to govern (not just another one who looks great "on paper").
Palin has the unlikely and unequaled combination of a phenomenal, exemplary record of elected executive leadership and a superstar drawing power previously unseen in the American political pantheon. Ever.
And the only reason the Left has kept up the ridiculous mantra of Palin being "unelectable" is clearly because she is so very electable. I'll make you a deal:
You back Cain. I'll back Palin. We'll meet here on FreeRepublic in September of 2012, and see who America agreed with. My money says Cain doesn't even make it to the primaries.

It’s not really 3 legs anymore, but if it was, sure. Right now theres a question about conflicts on foreign policy. The media would like to think there are issues on social conservativism.
Yes as far as I know at least all the 2012 GOP candidates are natural born citizens. My guess is they can all produce a long form BC. Thats a plus for all of them.
Even if it was an affirmative action contest, we very much would be in a much better spot with Palin the FIRST FEMALE PRESIDENT, than however else, the 2nd black president.
I think we throw a female out there until one of the 2 parties gets first female president. Palin is the only Republican female that is well known enough to get the nomination. Bachmann might be close enough.
If Palin wins, First Female President would be so HUGE for Republicans. We want it. And the Democrats know how HUGE it would be. And that’s one reason they’re tearing at her, besides the policy differences.
