Palin’s putting the safety catch on her references to weapons in the wake of Rep. Giffords's shooting.

Her speech last night to the Safari Club in Reno was closed press, but thanks to the Reno Gazette-Journal's David Jacobs putting his ear to a closed door, we’re hearing the former Alaska governor’s new line.

Palin dropped the "reload" phrase from her routine, telling the audience of hunters "don't retreat, stand tall" — a shift from her now infamous and well-known "don't retreat, reload" line that played on a loop on cable in the after the Tucson shooting.

More of the QueerMedia reporting on non-news hype and noise generated by their fellow propagandizing bedwetters.

Oh, and I doubt Sarah Palin is “backing down” from anything.

Mr. Barr was obviously sitting on a limb like a starving vulture waiting for her to reuse the phrase...it was a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation for Sarah.

Her specialty is keeping the obamabot media off balance, they push, she steps aside for them to fall on their faces.

That's liberals for you...

So, if I understand their dribble correctly, first, she’s responsible for Loughtener’s shooting for her map and rhetoric. And now, she’s weak, and running away because she didn’t say “reload”?

So, in their eyes, is there any reasonable thing she could have done correctly?

And this is what qualifies as reporting? Lol.

Face it she shouldn’t change the line, if she’s going to use it.

I worked for a liberal government official. When something went against him, he would say “Don’t get gun shy, just sharpen those sights!” No one thought he was talking about shooting anyone.

Removing references to fighting and weaponry will only further weaken a society that can’t defend itself at arms.

She is SO irrelevant and you did a story based on a reporter listening to some of her speech by putting his ears to the door? OK! Thanks Politico!

David Jacobs putting his ear to a closed door

Well....at least it didn't take decades for the identity of Deep Ear to be revealed.

Oh, and I doubt Sarah Palin is “backing down” from anything.

I doubt it, too.

She's reloading. She'll use it again at *exactly* the right moment.

If she’s such a non-entity according to the MSM then why are they still keeping her in the news?

I agree with you. She is where she is in large part because she doesn’t back down. Its a mistake to start now. And its a mistake to let the Dems set the terms and language of the debate.

I’m actually not a fan of the whole notion of “civility” when the Dems get to be the arbiters of it.

When Palin starts saying “two men enter, one man leaves,” I’ll start to worry.

I wonder why they don’t put an ear next to the Oval office and listen to what is going on with (.)bama who is the pResident rather than commenting about someone in private life. Furthermore, I guess the same could be said about why they were not at the door of the Oval Office when Clintoon was in there....wait a minute, I don’t like the image this is bringing up in my mind.

If you read my tagline you will know I support Palin. However, apart from what she says, Sarah talks too fast and as a result talks too much. I’m talking about delivery not substance. She needs a speaking coach to slow her down for better effect.
