Nice statement from Boortz. RIP Royal Marshall.

I am not a frequent Boortz listener primarily due to his broadcast time, but this is very sad. He was a young man and leaves behind a wife and two very young daughters.
A lot of great comments follow that original article, several from people who knew him, and a few extremely classless ones.

It's almost as difficult to imagine Neal's show continuing without Royal as it would be to imagine Rush's show without Bo Snerdley...
The loss of Royal will leave a huge hole in talk radio.

I remember a show some years ago when Boortz was talking about how blacks would throw the n-word around, at each other, at themselves, on tv, in music and with no repercussions.Whites could never use the word under any conditions But that blacks could call whites most any thing they wanted any time, white, cracker etc.
So Boortz asked Royal what he would call him if Boortz called Royal the n-word?
Without missing a beat, Royal said, "I might call you an ambulance"...
Classic Royal...
