The SW pilots act like it is their personal aircraft. I like that a lot.

We had a similar story
Fellow in Ketchikn (Alaska) had a fire at the house - young daughter was burned horribly.
Mom and daughter took air ambulance (jet) to Seattle burn center. FAA rules allow only one PAX with pt.
Dad purchased a standby ticket to fly to SEATAC.
AS normal, flight was full.
The gate agent made an annoucement asking for a seat - no takers.
THe guy walked around with several $100 bills begging for a seat.
No go.
He got on the next flight, but his daughter died about an hour before he got to the burn center.
Cold hearted? Hell yes.
Don’t know if there is a lesson here.
If you booked your ticket by phone and didn’t print your boarding pass prior to arrival, tell me how you didn’t stand in a line at the ticket counter.
I don’t even see where it says two hours in the story. Can someone help me out?
The boyfriend didn’t call 911 or the mother for two hours because he was “afraid of getting into trouble.”

This is the way life should be. There is the horrors of crime and evil and there is the mercy of of love. The horror is the “boyfriend.” The mercy is the pilot. Only mercy in the face of evil makes life worth living.
I can’t even read that part. Someone said today they could not pull the trigger on these people. I could.
