A proposal by Senator Mark Udall, D-Colo., for bipartisan seating during the annual State of Union address is picking up support. The plan, that would sit Republicans, Democrats, and Independents should-to-shoulder during the President's address, is getting the thumbs up from both sides of the aisle and even right down the middle.

This is how the RINOS can shake off the conservatives.

Look for a RINO/DEM coalition claiming the “center”.

No Way! This is an attempt to not show how big a majority the Republicans have in the house. Republicans... Don't agree to this. When the Democrats had the majority, the Republicans were treated like dirt!

Please don’t do this.

We elected you to DERAIL all of this. Not go up there and applaud it.

Yeah - the left will see it as a goodwill gesture. Conservatives will take it as having the bird flipped at them because...that’s what it would be.

The ruling class does not recognize party lines, just class lines, and they are not about to let the peasants who elected them call the shots.

The desire to blur party lines only happens when the left is in the minority. One can only hope the newly elected Republicans can see through this crap.

If this is a one-night thing, I don't have a problem with it. But if this is the Dems and RINOs trying to put the brakes on the momentum from the mid-term elections, The GOP should say no thanks. But they won't because they have no spine.

NO! Let the ranks of Republican victory in November be splendidly apparent.

The GOP and INdys must sit apart from the ailing left, and it is a travesty for the public to NOT see the true visual result of Novembers election.

COME ON!!!!!

MORE MANIPULATION THAT THE GOP goes along with????

SHAME!!!!

WHY DOES THE GOP shy away from making their image one of popular victory. ITS TRUE!!!!!

WHAT COWARDS ARE MINDING THE GOP store anyway??

HORRIBLE. JUST HORRIBLE!!!!

If the Republicans fall for that, they are dumber than a bag of rocks.

That would be just great...making themselves indistinguishable from the leftists. Real Sharpppppp!!!

“To be GOVERNED is to be kept in sight, inspected, spied upon, directed, law-driven, numbered, enrolled, indoctrinated, preached at, controlled, estimated, valued, censured, commanded, by creatures who have neither the right, nor the wisdom, nor the virtue to do so. To be GOVERNED is to be at every operation, at every transaction, noted, registered, enrolled, taxed, stamped, measured, numbered, assessed, licensed, authorized, admonished, forbidden, reformed, corrected, punished. It is, under pretext of public utility, and in the name of the general interest, to be placed under contribution, trained, ransomed, exploited, monopolized, extorted, squeezed, mystified, robbed; then, at the slightest resistance, the first word of complaint, to be repressed, fined, despised, harassed, tracked, abused, clubbed, disarmed, choked, imprisoned, judged, condemned, shot, deported, sacrificed, sold, betrayed; and, to crown all, mocked, ridiculed, outraged, dishonored. That is government; that is its justice; that is its morality.”

— Pierre-Joseph Proudhon,
from (1851)
General Idea of the Revolution in the Nineteenth Century
