GOP Strategist: Palin Prolonged the Polarization and Prolonged the Country's Misery

Andrea Michell is discussing Sarah Palin (what a surprise) with Democrat David Bonier and Republican strategist Vin Weber, here's the video of Weber.

-------

MITCHELL: "She had the choice of when to speak and the tone. and one has to wonder why doesn't she have a wider circling of advisers. i don't know any political strategist of a national campaign, republican or democrat who thinks that was a smart thing to do.

VIN WEBER: "Well, we really don't know who advises her. She's quite isolated from what you might think of as the Republican establishment. No one is quite sure who's advising her. I think she was way off key on what she said and the president was right on key. The country after a catastrophe like this wants a moment when you come together and heal a little bit, and they had been denied that because of all the debate about the polarizatio and the president rescued the moment, if you will, and brought the country together and for governor Palin to have responded the way she did at the time was kind of prolonging the polarization and prolonging the country's sort of misery as they waited for a moment of unity.

There's really no doubt - its an established fact.

The GOP establishment has more in common with Obama than they do Palin.

Thank goodness we now have an alternative.

The “unity” they apparently desired was us all uniting in agreeing that Conservatives need to accept the blame and sit down and shut up - and no calling the media on their disgusting blood libel!

These DC insiders are just amazing aren’t they?

They keep playing politics and act as if it doesn’t matter a hill of beans that Sarah Palin has just been savaged for several days by the press and commentariat. No, the timing and tone of her response just doesn’t sit well with them. She should have apologized and turned herself in to the Tuscon police or something.

Sarah Palin does us all a favor by unmasking the aholes in the “Republican establishment”. So Vin Weber joins a host of folks who qualify as aholes.

“Well, we really don’t know who advises her. She’s quite isolated from what you might think of as the Republican establishment. No one is quite sure who’s advising her.”

Which translates roughly as ‘We don’t control her’.

Stay away from the GOP establishment, Sarah and follow your own insticts. They are wolves in sheeps clothing.

With “advisors” like this, we might as well lock
the doors give the key to some homeless person and
drive ourselves to re-education camp.

He’s a jerk. That poor woman can’t do anything right. She’s darned if she does and darned if she doesn’t. So it doesn’t matter what she does, she just needs to do what she thinks is best. And that’s all she can do.

Vin Weber
Nicole Wallace

Names to watch, and be wary of any
“GOP” candidate who chooses these as advisors

“The GOP establishment has more in common with Obama than they do Palin.”

You got that right. The burden is on the new Congress to show us that they’re not going to go along with nutty GOP business as usual.

This is no time for dispassionate analysis of strategy, the media was attempting to incite a lynchmob. Literally. I want to see more of these so-called Republicans show a little outrage about what happened.

Where is it?

It certainly seems to me that the GOP has totally caved in to the libel media narrative. Pawlenty says “I wouldn’t have used crosshairs on maps”....

eh?? Talking about lockstep with the false narrative!

It’s time to start fighting back and kicking some serious butt. All we’ve gotten from the DC “Republican” crowd is a squeaky or tacit agreement that Palin has to be blamed.

They’ve gone Dhimmicrat.

And this came out of the mouth of a GOP Strategist..you know what..I get it now..I had this theory but never publically addressed it..I actually believe that there is a portion of the GOP, not sure about the percentage..that not only voted for Obama, but will vote for him again in 2012..they see Sarah Palin as such a threat to the GOP Establishment they would rather have her LOSE then throw Obama out of office
