Enough already.
Conservatives need to get on the phone and email and tell Boehner to put away his hanky and get busy with the people's work. What a timid twerp he has proven to be already.

So, according to the pamphlet formerly known as "Time," the only reason any tragedy occurs is because Congress was too lazy to write a law that would have prevented it.
I can't wait until Time is no more.

Well, Time has spoken.
Lets get on with repealing Obamacare.

We don’t need any new laws to protect members of Congress.

What exactly did you want Boehner to do? Pass some gun laws?

So, according to the pamphlet formerly known as "Time," the only reason any tragedy occurs is because Congress was too lazy to write a law that would have prevented it. I've said for nearly 2 decades now that the standard "liberal" reaction to any tragedy is "there ought to be a law!" to prevent it.
It's no different than superstitious primitives struggling to find the right incantation for a magic spell -- if only they can get the words just right, then everything will be perfect.

Congress should pass the resolution to repeal Obamacare. Congress should do any or all of the things they promised in their pre-election “Pledge to America”: cancel the balance of the unspent stimulus package, end TARP, require Congressional approval of any federal regulations that will add to the budget.
To: chickadee
All politicians should do what they promised.

I want Boehner to get off the Giffords incident and move on to the broader agenda. Is that too much to ask?
To: chickadee
Boner is already a huge disappointment for supporting Maria Cino for RNC chair. Cino is pro-illegal alien amnesty and a liberal. why the hell is he backing her?

What exactly did you want Boehner to do? Pass some gun laws? Let's hope not. The only thing government can do when it comes to personal safety is "infringe" the right.
To: chickadee
They’re going to vote on repealing Obamacare next week. I would call that “the broader agenda”.

The DNC Chair should be Reince Priebus, the guy who brought us a Republican Wisconsin from top to bottom. (Go Reince!)

Boehner should take them up on it and introduce legislation making it a crime to shoot a member of congress.
