I think what you are talking about is the massive purge that took place recently, you remember "all those third party will never work folks", there were hundreds of them, maybe a thousand or more, well they all left, they were all GOP establishment hinchman, good riddance ...

You bring up a good point. If the 3rd party, all or nothing, my way or the highway approach can work, then FR fund raising should be a good barometer for the financial effort it will take to elect a 3rd party candidate.
