Not true. It all hinges on the British law at the time and their view of legitimate birth versus illegitimate birth.
Sr was already married. He could not legally marry Ann in the US. It is VERY POSSIBLE that Obambi was not a British citizen if born on US soil.
Did they have a marriage somewhere else? I don’t know.
I am not for sure they ever had a real marriage in the US.
