A curious media spin phenomena continues: When Democrat Presidents are forced into breaking campaign promises by signing legislation they hate, it’s always a moment of strength and victory. When Republicans do the same it’s weakness and loss.

Krauthammer has joined George Will as conservative columnists who have gone native.

It’s what overexposure and years in Washington do to people.

One has to take Krauthammer seriously but I don’t see how Obama is so smart. He was boxed in and had to move to the center or let his constituents on unemployment go without and piss off everyone else when their taxes went up. Unfortunately the Republicans let him off easy. But what else was Obama going to do?

Charles, the drugs have kicked in.

Obama is not smart, this is not a comeback, and he has definitely not moved to the center.

He is still a far left, America hating Muslim marxist, who can read a teleprompter and expel enough bullsh$t to keep people like you, Charles, enthralled.

This is the high point of his usurped Presidency.

It is all down hill from here.

Now, with his stunning tax deal, Obama is back

Maybe Kraut is anticipating a massive RINO wimp out. That's the only thing that can frame him as the "come back kid". "NO COMPROMISE!"

That’s got to be the first time I’ve ever seen a paraplegic jump over a shark.

That boy’s got skills, I tell ya. Too bad he’s on the wrong team.

Buh-bye, Charles.

Obamao ain’t Reagan, not even equivalent in value to Reagan’s toe gum, and he ain’t Clinton either. He is like the worse parts of Carter magnified ten fold, only he needs a teleprompter to help him get there. A Republican House and Senate may have had an outside chance of salvaging things for Obamao, but certainly not the House by itself. There won’t be a Clintonesque type of recovery for Obamao, no matter how much Charles hits the crack pipe.

Humbug!

Media, Krauthammerites no exception, have been on a crusade to force-feed me on bama’s “smarts” and all I can think of is why they try so hard when all I see is a teleprompter specialist!

Mr. Krauthammer you’re wrong on your conclusion because obama is no Clinton. You see this country has never had a character like this fellow before. clinton was shellacked and unpopular at the end of his first two years and still rebounded, true, but there was differences between him and the present WH occupant. No one ever doubted clinton’s authenticity or legitimacy as an American. No one ever doubted his Christian heritage background — even if it was practiced superficially. No one ever wondered if his father was American, if his mother repudiated her country or not, if she was a Marxist or not.

You see Mr. Krauthammer, two years from now is not two years back. obama has a lot of baggage that public was blind to two year back. The next election there won’t be those murky mucky waters any longer. It’s clear clear waters going forward and the public is on to this fellow. He’s a one termer, mark my word.

Kraut has not jumped the shark, he is getting senile!!! Poor fellow, all that smarts and no pragmatic, street smart, common sense. Oh, yea, Charlie boy, Obama to get re-elected. Is that the same re-election Obama and Bill Clinton promised what would happen to “Blue Dog” Democrats if they voted for Obama care. Sorry, Charles, you are a nice man, but you ain’t with the program.

While I’ve been a tad ticked off at the Kraut recently, I have to say this is a good article, and it could very well pan out to be true.

Gosh...I hate saying that!

The president is a very smart man.

Even Charlie spouts this mantra.

My stomach turns whenever I hear this statement.

Charles, there is a difference between smart and devious.

And how can people equate 'smart' and 'brilliant' with someone who can't string two words together without a written script provided for them to parrot off teleprompters?

Lately, Krauthammer has been dropping some bizarro statements. I have liked and admired him for years but the question now begs: Is he losing it or is he a 'sleeper" - now being activated?

"Despite this, some on the Right are gloating that Obama had been maneuvered into forfeiting his liberal base. Nonsense. He will never lose his base. Where would they go?"

Put down the bong, Charles, the base will go where all ideologue fanatics go when they don't get their way. They will go home and stay home right thru election day.

Krauthammer claims the Rep could have “gotten everything they wanted” without compromising. he claims Obama would have NEVER DARED to allow rates to go up.

Oh really? and suppose he DID allow them to go up and cited as the reason the Republicans refusal to make even the smallest compromise to keep the rates where they are> he could have blamed it on their refusal to help the unemployed by extending unemployment compensation.

Let’s all remember this is the same guy who all but guarateed health care was DEAD when Scott Brown was elected in MA.
