Calling John McCain a traitor to the US shows a blatant and willful disregard for the man's biography.

Sen. McCain has always and I'm sure will always do what he thinks is best for the people he represents. As staunch conservatives we may disagree with him on some important issues.

On this issue he is right and we should support him. Would you rather throw your support behind the Bobbsie twins from Maine instead?

He did try too hard in the early part of this century to be moderate but he has heard the voice of the people in AZ and is working on their behalf now. Calling his constituents and responding to what they say. Not only that, he is speaking loud and clear in the national media about the dangers of this lame duck congress.

Now Freepers are hanging him out to dry because of his stance on amnesty which he himself has called a mistake.

This is not the time to alienate every single person from our ranks because they don't pass 100% of your litmus tests.

I did not vote for him in the primaries nor would I again, but he is correct in what he says here.

That's the problem with government. Congress does what they think is best, irrespective of what the U.S. Constitution demands. Congress rules the people as their master rather than governs them as their servant.

You can trust this traitor as much as you can trust the usurper. You put your trust in traitors, I won’t. He will turn on you in a blink of an eye. His mind has atrophied beyond usefulness.

Oh, it's much much more than shamnesty. Here is one small sample.

And then there is the monumental work he has done on "Climate Change."
