My new congressman voted against TARP as one of his last acts before the GOP threw him overboard. I’ll be he’s one of very few former congressmen who were elected this time.
Excuse my french, but WTF would anyone wish to destroy an orderly society? People prosper, lives are enriched, and families thrive. For as long as I can remember I still cannot wrap this aound my head.

I understand the desire for freedom but it seems to me that anarchist thinking ends right there. I don’t like paying taxes but recognize that some good can come out of it if spending and taxation are kept under control.

Guess I’m just not an angry hurtfull person. I don’t even want to harm liberals. I hope they can suceede living as they wish as long as it doesn’t impact me and the way I want to live.
I have no problem with paying a reasonable tax, but I hate having to pay for a capable person to sit on their a$$.

There’s no reason why anyone should ever pay more than 10 or 15 percent in taxes. That would way more than pay for the legitimate services/duties our government is supposed to do.

I’m sure I’m under on this amount but I pay out at least forty two cents on the dollar in taxes from federal to local, bills, gas, food, and the list goes on.
