One of Al Gore's campaigns to save the planet has scaled back its field operations since climate legislation failed earlier this year in Congress.
The Alliance for Climate Protection was operating in about 25 states at its peak, including Florida, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
But the group now has field offices in just seven states.
"We've always believed it’s a mobile and nimble operation," said Sean Sarah, the non-profit group's spokesman. "We move to areas where it’s most effective. Of course the situation in Congress has changed. So our strategies and tactics have changed along with it."
Sarah didn't disclose which states the Alliance still has workers in. But he said the group retains its same staff size and headquarters in Washington and Gore's hometown of Nashville.
Gore in 2008 launched a $300 million advertising and lobbying campaign through the Alliance to help pass climate legislation on Capitol Hill, telling CBS' 60 Minutes at the time it was a “blitz as sweeping and expensive as a big corporation's rollout of a new product
Now that Mother Earth has failed to cooperate, the gig is up and the money is drying up.
The “global warming” name quickly changed to “climate change” right around the same time activists started having anti-global warming marches in Amherst MA...

As I like to say, global warming? I’m all for it, bring it on! I’m tired of freezing up here!
Ever look out the window as you fly and see just how huge the Earth is, especially out west with all that land? How can little fleas like us greatly affect the world climate with pollution, etc.? And when they say temps have gone up a tenth of a degree—oh boo hoo, I say bump it up a good 20 degrees so I don’t have to shovel 2 feet of snow!
Al Gore has already made his money and could care less what happens......except making more money giving useless speeches.
They just want to keep the scam going and the money rolling in! A**holes!

The same court recently rejected the appeals of the lengthy sentences of the 137 alleged UN “scientists” – Gore’s co-conspirators – for falsifying data supporting so-called Cap and Trade legislation that trial testimony disclosed would have virtually destroyed what remained of the U.S. economy while unjustly enriching Gore and a cabal of insiders.
During his trial, Gore was notified by the Nobel Committee that he would have to return the large monetary prize and the gold metal awarded him in 2009. He told reporters that the last of his prize money had gone to the lawyers and Tipper pawned his medal when she left him for an achondroplastic dwarf NBA center and filed for divorce after his conviction.
I remember asking myself at the time: "Why don't these people schedule these stupid events in the summer time, so they don't look like @sses when it turns out to be COLD in February?"

A sudden – and unfortunate – blast of what the “scientist” in charge of the conference termed “global warming” caused the meeting to be rescheduled until Algore can be thawed some time next Spring – assuming there will BE one.
Our reporter has learned that the influential conservative web site Free Republic has launched a contribution drive to rent a freezer locker in which to keep Gore for the 10 to 15 years estimated it will take for the so-called “mainstream media” to begin covering the Climategate story.
I couldn’t agree more; it’s “take the money and run” and algore has reached the “run” stage. He doesn’t give a damn about the dreamy-eyed true believers in his cult. Just more people to throw overboard.
But they still are warmed by gas heat and their electric comes from the nuclear power plant...and most everything in their house is from miles across the sea...
Kids have no concept of one pair of shoes, mending socks, walking to the store..

March 20, 2007-- Moonbats March Through Late Snow to Protest Global Warming
Over the weekend, global warming cultists once again displayed their boundless capacity for self-ridicule by beginning a walk across the state of Taxachusetts to draw attention to their imaginary crisis — through snow in late March.
The Long March was organized by left-leaning religious leaders like Rev. Margaret Bullitt-Johns of the Grace Episcopal Church in Amherst, who reports:
It was windy and cold. I was walking on the front of the line and I felt like I was bow of a ship with the wind just coming into my face.
According to Rev. Andrea Ayvazian of the Haydenville Congregational Church, the snow was so deep, it was like breaking trail.
As they marched, the moonbats kept their spirits up by singing "Keep on walking forward, never turning back" — a motto to which global warming alarmists continue to cling, regardless of the mounting evidence that human activity does not have a perceptible effect on the climate.
