Karl Rove to Palin and Huckabee: Stop whining about the Bushes already
Hot Air ^ | DECEMBER 3, 2010 | ALLAHPUNDIT

Posted on 12/03/2010 2:46:32 PM PST by RobinMasters

Via Mediaite, yet another clip of 2012 pot-stirring awesomeness from Laura Ingraham. First she had Palin on and pressed her not only on what Barbara Bush said but on Chris Christie’s dig at her on Leno. Then Huckabee came on and she started pushing his buttons about being looked down upon by the squishy egghead city slickers who don’t know the Real America the way he does.

Now here’s Rove being nudged to defend the Bushes from the Huck/Palin populist onslaught. She might as well start calling these segments, “You Gonna Take That?” I can’t wait to see what she has planned for Mitt. Maybe she’ll surprise him by having Huck phone in while he’s on the air to call him a RINO plutocrat. Let the primary knife fights begin!

Texas Eagle to Karl Rove: Stop whining about Palin whining about Bushes.

Rove was the “master of the middle”. He is the expert in getting the moderates to vote for your side.

Problem for Rove is that there is no longer much remaining of the squishy middle. They have moved to the right in the face of the unbridled Bolshevism of the Obamabots. So now he’s left with an expertise in the political equivalent of making buggy whips.

Karl, who started it? It’s not like Sarah was going out of her way looking for excuses to whine about Barbara Bush (or frankly, anyone or anything else, as far as I can tell). Mike might have been, but then, that’s how Mike rolls. Bar ran her mouth, Sarah ran hers back. That’s politics. Deal.

Myself to Karl Rove:

The United States in serious trouble, in part due to the limited view from folks like yourself which see politics as a game in which one side scores a little, then the other side scores a little, then the original side gets the ball again. Karl, we’re not playing a game here. The left is on its way to destroying our country and culture. You’re still playing games. Either understand the problem or get the hell out of the way.

Thats true, and at one time I rather marveled at his ability to steal his opponent's issues.

Of course, the problem with stealing your opponent's issues is that sometimes you wind up enacting your opponent's agenda. Clever electoral politics but I think people have lost patience with that kind of thing. I have, for sure.

More and more, whenever Rove appears I flash back to the occupants of the Ford box at the 1976 GOP Convention looking down on (and flinging TP streamers at) the Reagan supporters below. The Old Guard hasn’t changed much...

Hey Rove, tell Barbara Bush to STFU and we hope she stays in Texas with Jeb-o-moron.

Excellent message to Rove! That's the problem with Rove. He's playing games trying to get his candidate/s aligned for the nomination when in fact, Sarah Palin is already taking aim at the occupant in the WH, and not wasting her time on other potential GOP candidates.

Rove the architect. Of what? The complete destruction of the GOP, just when it's making the right turn to the conservative Right, thanks much to the work of Sarah Palin!

Karl Rove stopped being relevant about the time the Tea Party began it’s ascendancy. Rove is an elitist, old-school, political manipulator who simply cannot or will not grasp the grim reality that faces America under Obama. Rove wants to play the same old political games when the time for playing patty-cake with leftists determined to bring down the U.S. has clearly passed and guys like Rove are becoming impediments to the fight that has to be fought and won. Give it up, Karl. Your services are no longer needed - or wanted.

Me to Karl Rove: “Dude you're so-o-o yesterday. Sit down and shut your pie hole.”

Sarah did not pick this fight, but certain stupid, elitist ‘pubbies did. Screw them and the horse you rode in on.

Note to Rove:

Tell the Bushes to stop “whinning” about Palin!!!

Wait, before you do that: Tell yourself to stop whinning about Palin!!!! Then tell the Bushes to stop whinning about Palin.

Even as a political spin doctor, Rove should follow the adage:
Physician heal thyself.

Unless there is something we weren’t told about Palin’s opinion of the Bush’s, the controversy seemed to begin when Barbara Bush made a snide comment about wanting Palin to stay in Alaska. Palin then made her comment about blue bloods. So if Rove has a different set of facts, I would like to hear them.

“Why doesn’t he tell the Bushes to stop whining about Sarah?”

BTTT on that...and you can make that Bushes AND McCains.

I don’t have much love for Palin, who’s not come out speaking loudly about her stances on the most important issues to me. But I’m sick of the RNC old guard bashing anyone who even appears conservative or not cut from their clique.

OK, see you one Theory of Huckativity insulting graphic and raise you one "Palin as Bill Kristol Sock Puppet" graphic

.

(she may be the best available first tier candidate - but one graphic putdown does deserve another. I would vote for Obama before I'd vote for Huck!).
